    Nooo.
Most exciting? Still? He's only won three GT stages since his ban. And two of them were by wheel sucking Froome.

    Yeah. Most exciting.

    It's a relative thing.

Very sad to see Contador pull out. He's not very lucky is he? 2 crashes and now a fever. Don't suppose the heat helped today
He didn't look like he was suffering very much when he was waving to the camera after stepping off.

    Afternoon folks
    What's the story so far?
Break 6 minutes up the road. Majka & Pinot in it battling for KOM points. Sagan in it getting points. Two Movistar also there. Valverde and Contador were too initially, but Contador was dropped & Valverde sat up as Sky were reeling them in.

Then Contador abandoned. He looked relieved more than anything.

The crash that was caught on camera was entirely his own fault. He's a serial crasher, probably the worst bike handler of all the gc riders (if you still class him as one)

Yates and Contador apparently not speaking. CN forum rumour mind, so get the salt out.

Oh Sean Yates. I was wondering what Bertie's beef was with Adam for a minute.

I think you are forgetting G "Crashy" Thomas, no?

I like looking to see what order the teams are positioned in the peloton at times like this. It's like a status symbol. BMC further back than expected. Maybe an inferiority complex.

Hard to tell, but nearly all of this road is 5% gradient. The other side of town, there are some sections at 8-10%

I've been to that spa. I was very disappointed as an 11 year old, I was expecting a water park.

If you want to switch over to Eurosport the coast is clear at the moment. Kirby isn't commentating.

Back from dinner and it seems the predicted snooze fest has indeed materialised.

I was really excited by the announcement of a British team but, as an only moderately jingoistic Brit, Sky are destroying my enjoyment of the Tour De France.

Other teams are allowed to try and win, they just generally choose not to.
