French tv just interviewed Sean Yates.
    A bit non committal.
Tinkoff's sport director Sean Yates told Francetelevisions from his team car: “Alberto [Contador] had a bit of fever this morning. He told us at the beginning of the race that he wasn't feeling super and it's obvious.

    Erviti nasty tumble.

And look what you get on a google image search if you type in 'Andorran Horse'! :D

I thought we were told it was a Camargue horse. Someone needs to track down the horse and work out its ethnicity.
Definitely a Camargue horse. Looking at the Andorran website, the picture has been selected for horse's legendary loveliness rather any connection to Andorra.

Maybe it's on holiday. Would certainly explain why the horse is looking so ridiculously smug.

As for today's stage, a few years ago I'd have expected Garmin to have used it to blow everything up and see who came through the rubble, but that part of their DNA seems to have been left behind when they merged with Cannondale. Suspect we'll get anticlimax instead.

It really is a lovely horse. Frenchie wasn't wrong. But it is definitely a Camargue.

Just turned it on and heard Millar and Boulting talking about the way Contador's team are behaving towards him - what's that all about?

That's a pity, but very sensible. Hopefully see him back for the Vuelta.

The team dynamics there look pretty broken, will Tinkoff send him to the Vuelta if he's so clearly a Trek rider in all but name?

Contador had a long conversation with his mechanic in the back of the car instead of the DS in the front.

Could be a language thing or part of the breakup of the team.

Most exciting? Still? He's only won three GT stages since his ban. And two of them were by wheel sucking Froome.

Can't see them not sending him, he'll want to ride and he's still by far their best bet for any GC

Very sad to see Contador pull out. He's not very lucky is he? 2 crashes and now a fever. Don't suppose the heat helped today
