    Evening girls,

Had horrendous wind here today, it was also breezy outside too! Power has been off most of the day so i nearly ended up having a conversation with the bottom feeder but a couple of carefully placed grunts put her off the scent.

No longs trips for the last 5 weeks, just the 'burbs. Will see if a blast on Thursday helps.

    Tuesday

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday was fun, arriving at work to find one of the mixing consoles had died over the weekend. Not that anyone had bothered to inform of this, we had to find it out for ourselves  The rest of the day was quiet though, so this was good.

Tonight I'm hoping to go out for a run, but I banged my knee yesterday and it's still hurting so might be a bit careful on it.

    Morning village people,

Bit of loafing to start the day and then I'm out there weeding, digging, chipping, mulching etc! This will be interspersed with a variety of time wasting activities.

    Happy days

It's your own fault for buying an oil burner.
Today is busier than it has any right to be, this is not good. My boss is back from his long weekend of an S&M tour of Austrian cellars and is being overly happy, I might have to murderise him. Balls, got to go and see a customer that's turned up here in the flesh.

This might negate all the fuel savings I've made so far: know anyone who can sell me a cheap DPF, guv'nor? They do say that diesels are the work of the devil, after all why else do the French drive so many of them?

Board presentation looming this afternoon - lie mode on and numbers have been tortured enough now. I'll see you on the other side. After that its out for some food n drink to celebrate getting through it - hopefully.

That's one of the reasons I won't touch a diesel. Car only does about 5k miles a year and half of that is going to Italy for two weeks in the summer. Pottering around here would kill a smoker. The cider whore of the north is your man for modern rubbish, hopefully a good thrashing will help.
Good luck this afternoon, say something ridiculous to make sure they are listening.

I do about 10k a year, mostly up North and to Wales on motorways but there's a fair bit of pottering round SE London in between.

Buzzword Bingo - now there's an idea...

    Only Wednesday

    Morning Losers!

This week feels like it's dragging! I can't be orificed with it. I got a lot of work done yesterday, not really for my actual workplace, but it's stuff I needed to do.
Today is just a continuation of yesterday. I then have a meeting in Bury where I have to present what I've done since the last meeting to some people. The answer is, not much. The deadline is looming, I've lost my motivation, and quite frankly, meh.

    Yep def a slow week

Local branch equals a nice commute this morning which was safer than driving as far too much ale was consumed last night

Tonight is hopefully a lot calmer

Busy day with minions annual reviews and the budget chucked in at the same time. Think I'll have a cider tonight as tomorrow is the joys of the dentist and a funeral - whooppee

    Evening tw@'s,

Done a fark load of buildery type work that i was not expecting, to that end I'm a bit battered. Mrs has been baking all day as the chickens are lobbing out too many eggs so I've just fired a couple down my grid!

More of the same tomorrow i imagine.

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Well last nights meeting lasted 3 hours!! I then visited my dog-walking friend briefly and ended up getting home around midnight because all the damn motorways are closed for roadworks around here

Today, I'll be trying to stay awake.

    Evening berglers of the terd,

More graft than you can shake a worn pair of work gloves at today. Pointed another wall, chipped a load of branches and am now sat on my crack watching the final season of breaking bad, fire is roaring and the red wine is about to run out.

    TFI FRIDAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

    Morning Losers!

Today couldn't come soon enough. After leaving work an hour and a half late last night after someone decided they were allergic to nuts after having a satay sandwich  Luckily she was fine, and the time and a half overtime means I can take that on Monday to my advantage.

Today I will leave work at 3:30, get home, and post a snowboard. eBay have changed their postal methods, and now use Collect+ and MyHermes, which is rubbish.

Anywho, I've run out of milk and sugar, so no weetabix for me, just toast.

    Morning bell whackers,

Been a busy old week as usual, today is helping some chums move out of their house to a rental, more lifting heavy stuff! At least I'm good for something!
Tonight is fish, chips, boozes and rugby in no particular order.

Busy day dealing with gits in far away places. Didn't managed to get it all sorted either but really cba to do any more over the weekend. I need rest, exercise and grog - though probably not all at the same time!

    Saturday

Great night last night went to an audience with Steve Parrish - really good and his daughter who was interviewing him was exceptionally easy on the eye

Today is probably a run and then kids taxi stuff then dropping the eldest off for his first time going into town on his own :(

A few jobs then for a bike ride to a pub that shows the rugby with a pal, we can't go too mad as we are out for dinner with our wife's and another couple later

With your ability to sup, what do you call not going "too mad"? And will the car keys be in the fruit bowl during the evening?

    Morning sanitary product testers,

Really enjoyed the rugby last night, didn't go 'too mad' so feeling good this am. Not looking forward to the England rugby match tonight as the sweaties are on a bit of a run of good form, we really need a good performance from start to finish not just a decent second half after a good talking to at half time.

Anyhoo, plenty of menial shizzle here today, mainly outdoors as the temp is expected to hit 20 degrees celcius!

Lazy start after getting in far too late having missed the last train. That sounds like a good night TLW. I went to a dinner hosted by the chairman of the RAC club to celebrate the rebuild of a dodgy old motor. Had lots to eat and drink in extremely posh surroundings. think I used the right knife and fork. A tad worse for wear now.

It's been jobs jobs jobs today - mostly my own luckily.

Now sitting down and catching up with a few emails and stuff before we go for some Thai nosh and maybe watch a bit of foot tonight. And the worst of the work stuff is nearly over so life may get back to normal - including a gravity trip to Wales in just over a weeks time 8)

Morning bell sniffers it's Sunday, you know? The day before you're back to work!

Really enjoyed the England rugby match, was nervy prior as the sweaties have been playing well but they struggled.

Anyway, today once the slight hangover has subsided I'll be loafing in front of the telly!

Sometimes I think I go to work for a rest. More jobs and Dads taxi stuff today, but in between will get the chance to do some bike fettling, including prepping The Panzer for next weeks gravity fest.

At least the hound has been tired out so I can doss with a cup of coffee for a bit until Strifey and Stropteen get back.

    The Dreaded Monday Morning

    Morning Losers!

After a rather nice weekend, I really don't want to go back to work today. I do have to look at the upside though, I'm leaving at 1:45 after working overtime last week. I need to run it past my boss though, so that could be interesting.

After that, my main plan is a telephone interview. Who knows what will happen there.

    Evening Starfish pokers,

Another busy day on the corporate hamster wheel. With lots of tax in far away places and some pedalling chucked in at either end. Now chilling in front of the telly with some cold cider watching Chelsea play some cheating Manc tw@t's.
