    Morning ladies,

Lovely day here so today I'll be mainly outside doing stuff, this may involve petrol driven power tools that may be trying to kill me dead! We'll find out tomorrow whether i make it!

Enjoy your short working week/last few days of holiday.

What's worse than a Monday? A poxy bloody Tuesday masquerading as Monday plus after a bank holiday.
Good weekend was had with much booze and nonsense, just a shame I have to work today. Off out shortly to take the girl to physio so at least I get a bit of time out. The EPO's new bike should be delivered today, that will keep me in the good books for a while at least.

Week 7 of gardening leave. Yay!! Can't wait to start new job now, going crazy now that money has started running out. Had really fancied a week of wild camping and mountain biking on the cheap but the bike is in the shop getting the forks looked at after a crashy crashy. So... more fooling around in lycra on the roads today and writing to Royal Mail about a fuckwit postman driver **** who ran me off the road and into a ditch on Saturday.

You're meant to get paid on gardening leave

Actually I may need to pick your brains at some point as my kid seems quite keen on the idea of being a vet after doing a bit or work experience at the local poodle doctors.

Apart from that, holidays are over judging by the amount of work in the office. Ho hum. At least it still warm enough to pedal home in shorts and t-shirt.

Expenditure > Income though at the moment... Bought two bikes in the past two weeks  and the job I'm going to is significantly more lucrative fortunately, hence why I can't wait!

Coo. Just drop me a message at some point.

Storck is a bit tasty, that's a bike I really couldn't do justice to. That's assuming I could even ride something like that, I doubt my back is flexible enough. What's the other new bike?

Cheers. Cervelo P2 is t'other one. Should be taking it out for first ride tomorrow. Wanted it for next season but figured get it now so I've got the autumn/winter to get my position sorted on it and get used to putting the power out in a silly position on the turbo once the weather gets crap.

    Morning losers

Today is chilling in the sun, probably at a local river beach

Later is a night out with the gite owners looking after the rugrats and also picking us up from the resturant :)
  • Morning Losers!

I've had the an amazing 10 days off. I've been the Lakes a few times, Worth Nales, Lancashire, Yorkshire and more. I've walked dogs, been bitten and scratched, rode a tiny steam train and visited a 'Japanese Garden' that looked like it hasn't been tended to in about 5 years.

Anywho, back to work today, where I have to select 10 minions for shortlisting, and then say goodbye to the good minion as it's his last day.

This isn't the place for that kind of depravity, but I'll let you off as you may be in shock due to becoming an old git. Oh, and happy birthday I guess.

    Monging morns,
Lovely and sunny out there, but starting to fell a little autumnal. Ground mist in the park this morning. Need to hassle the shop I bought the EPO's new bike from as it turned up damaged. I think Parcelfarce had used the box as a football which is quite an accomplishment. Front wheel is FUBAR and the mudguards are both damaged. Frame and rear wheel survived at least. Should be a quieter day in the orifice today, at least I hope so. Beer and curry tonight so my colleagues are in trouble tomorrow.

Happy 'Oh my god! You're so old!' VW,

    Morning Stephen Hawkings dribble moppers,

Roofers here finishing off and bottom feeder returns tomorrow after two weeks away so i have laundry on and am about to embark on something called cleaning! Anyone know what that's about? Give us a shout if you do. Someone had to show me what the laundry thing was a while ago as all those socks near my bed are harder than stale naan bread!

There might be some minor gardening as well!

    What has my life become.

Glad I'm. Not the only old fart around here :)

Just headed home after a day that was a bit too busy for my liking. Need to start sorting holidays for next year before Strifey makes up her own mind about something boring. Time for some research over a strong drink.

    Morning Losers!

Well, my minion left yesterday, and so did a bloke that was retiring. It's going to be weird in the office now as I'm left with retard minion. He'd better not try working 'extra hard' to make up for being a member of staff down, as it's really not busy.

    Roll on 4pm.

    Holiday nearly over :(

Great meal out last night whilst the gite owners babysat and did taxi duty, which was very handy!

Today is probably the last day at the river beach the kids love and later out for a meal

    Bonjour peeegs,

Getting a lot quieter around rhese parts with all the holidaymakers doing one and the local kids have gone back to skule which helps.
So today so far I've collected the bottom feeder from the airport, survived her white gloved inspection of the house and now i must wander around the garden, no more than two paces behind her at all times finding out what plants i should have been watering a lot more than i did!

    Afternoon all,
Thursday hangover is abating a little now, guts still iffy after the ruby. Be very glad you are not sharing an office with me. Busy today which wasn't helped by a Swedish customer turning up to pick up a load of stuff. But he brought me a case of beer so I didn't really mind. Had to laugh when I finished dealing with him and got to my desk 2 hours later I had 7 voice mails from a painful customer asking me to call him back getting more and more irate and drunk as they went on. Ended up asking if I wanted to deal with him. My boss thinks I should answer him honestly as he's more trouble than he's worth. I sent him an email saying I didn't want to talk to him as I was too busy so he should email me. Hopefully he'll get the hint.
    bike fettling later.

    Evening mongs,

Thursday is my cider evening so I'm happy. Will have to pedal tomorrow but I'm not thinking about that now.

Started the search for a nee minion today, hopefully there wont be foo many geeks and wierdos on the list. After all it is a VAT job and I've heard they make the IT crowd look cool and sauve :)

    friday

Last proper day of the holiday and ended up with a shoot 4hrs kip thanks to a sore neck. Not only do I need that sleep, but driving 800 miles tomorrow in one going will make it worse :(

Today was meant to be an expensive lunch out but the current wife has decided to prioritise the kids happiness over my belly - so we've settled on a reasonable expensive place near a river beach so the rugrats can play afterwards

Later will be local bars but not too excessive
  • Morning Losers!

Well HR gave us a bit of a shouting at as we hadn't finished the shortlisting, so I stayed behind an hour and a half yesterday going through them all with my new boss. That's done now, so we have our 5 victims and just need to sort the finer details out.

Today however, is 'staff training day', which consists of being told the companies prospects, financial position, plans for future etc. It's a day that basically grinds everything to a halt and pi$$es everyone off. Hmmm

    Morning freaks,

Roofers have finished, looks reyt good. Mainly tidying up and setting up some scaffolding to start pointing the exterior walls.

Tomorrow i'll be out on the roads driving slowly, might even use the tractor, to hold up the holidaymakers that are rushing north for their crossing. Like most other French types do!!

Lots of dead piggy has been eaten in the form of black pud, sausage and bacons. It was good. I've also had cake as it's cake Fryday. There is plenty more cake left to be eaten so I may well roll myself out of here at 4. Then going for a drink with my good lady. Unfortunately I only have a good lady and not a really naughty one.
    Roll on the weekend.

Another week, another minion resigns. That said I quite like recruiting as it beats working. And makes my pay negotiations easier as they know if I go as well they're fooked :)

Not long till a pedal home and some cold cider.

    Morning Losers!

A nice relaxed evening followed by a nice lie in this morning, leaves me a happy mule.

I'm going to tinker with the motorbike this morning, then head over to Bury to watch the football. Apparently it's going to throw it down this afternoon, so appropriate clothing should be dug out. Me thinks the summer is over.

Disturbed sleep as usual makes for a grumpy oodboo. Need to get one kid to drama club this morning then we're all off to a garden party this afternoon. There better be beer.
