    Yay, last day in the office till the 24th. Pack tomorrow and off to deepest darkest Norfolk on Saturday - booze has already been purchased :) Just got to survive another 5 hours at work without anything going pear shaped then the minions can take the strain...

    Morning Losers!

    TFI Friday! I've only been in work for 3 days this week, but that's been 3 too many! I've given myself too much to do, and I end up just looking at my list and then doing nothing instead. I feel I should work from home, but as both of my minions are off, I can't. Grrr

    Tonight I have a meeting with someone in Bury, and then back to da Hudd to have an early night and a nice lie in tomorrow... Could be interesting.

    Afternoon wage slaves,

    Acgee a slow start I've done most of my packing for hols tomorrow. Just got a few more jobs and car prep to do then it's the long wait while the women in the house massively over pack and get stressed about it. I have cider in the fridge for when this inevitably happens :)

    I had far too late a night last night, but it was pretty much worth it 8)

    Today I don't really have any plans. Basically just relax and take things easy. I might place a few of my matched bets, I should venture outdoors if possible, and maybe trim the beard a little.

    It's a hard life.

    Morning,
    Went to a planning meeting last night. I'm part of the support crew for a bunch of roadies on a ride from Newcastle to Skye. Over 400 miles and they want to do it in 24 hours.

    I like going for a ride but these guys are a different breed, should be good though.
    Today I'll mostly be looking after the kids, probably take them out somewhere but as we have no plans it should be a pretty relaxed day.

    Sunday people!

    Had some rubbish news about the health of a family member back in the uk yesterday, but have six friends turning up today for their 'holiday' so game faces on, quick house tidy and beers in the fridge. Temperatures were in the mid 30's yesterday and are due up there for the next couple of days, possible storms later in the week. Will keep it interesting Tlw1.

    Morning Losers!

    Well yesterday was pretty boring, but the evening was much more fun with my dog-walking friend. I also managed to buy a tent, hopefully it's not a rubbish one and going to collapse on me within a few minutes.

    Today is a normal Sunday. Over to Bury for the day. A friend is back from her holiday that I've not seen for a few weeks, so it'll be nice seeing her.

    Early start after big ale as I needed to get back to let a builder in - so 50 mile ride was completed before 9

    Now tired despite full English, so will start some jobs to keep me going

    Out in Padova with sister last night, found some local beers to try and then had a pizza. Popped into Venice this morning for a bit of a wander. Now in Verona chilling before going out with family for some scoff. Switzerland tomorrow to see a customer before the long drive home. Really not looking forward to work on Wednesday.

    Chilled morning supping coffee, eating cake and watching the world go by in Poshville Norfolk. Then went to an English Heritage place to let the hound off the leash followed by ice cream in a tacky seaside place. Now mulling over take away options :)

    Mostly lazy day today but took the eldest out for a tow and got lost, found my way back along a main road. If I go back there I think I'll pay a bit more attention to where I'm going.
    Got some stuff to move round later then off to Glentress tomorrow.

    Nice weekend of not doing too much is about to be ruined by having to return to work. I'm absolutely knackered! I really need some early nights.

    No work up here in Norfolk, but it was a nice day so we headed out for a country walk and tried to get the hound in the river but he wussed out :)

    Headed out for some pub grub shortly as wifey thankfully didn't manage to get all the stuff she needed to cook :D

    Wow it's dead in here! Where is everyone!?

    Finally got to bed at a much more respectable time, meaning I feel half alive today. It's going to be a busy one, I still have loads of applications to read through (I'm praying that the 65 pending don't all submit just before the deadline!) and I have loads of other stuff that needs doing too.

    After work, I'm over to Bury for a meeting. Joy of joys.

    Very tired Tuesday for me, stayed up way past my bedtime last night, child two was up during the night and child one fancied an early morning. I swear he got me up at 5 just so I could witness his massive fart.
    Hopefully when the wife finally gets up it'll be nap time, no doubt she has some insane plan for the day though.

    Had a good doss this morning, then headed for the beach where the hound ran and dug himself stupid. Went for a run myself just now and chilling out while the wine chills in the fridge and Strifey cooks fajitas. Yum yum.

    My new boss came back to work yesterday, and caught up with his emails 5 minutes before I went home. He hasn't even had chance to look at the applications for my new minion, and when asking how many there were, I can only assume the silence from his end was his jaw hitting the floor. When I left work it was 62 submitted with 70 pending :lol:

    I've been organising a camp for some kids to go camping in the Lakes next week. Everything was going well until about 8pm last night, where 3 adults suddenly pulled out. It's looking like it's going to be cancelled now. Great, that makes me look good :evil:

    Another lazy morning in Norfolk. Headed off to Sandringham shortly for a wander round once everyone else is ready :roll:

    Well, the camp I'd organised has been cancelled. Someone is going to ring round all the families and let them know. That sucks quite massively.

    On the positive side, I've decided to go camping down on the Sunny South Coast instead :D I have the week off, the tent ready, damnit, I'm going! My dog-walking friend (and hound!) may be joining me.

    Holidays are in the air :) just got to get through today.......

    Which has in order, dentist, work, out of office, food and then an early night ready for an early start driving down to the south of France :)
