Who's a mod of this forum now? Could they unblock Gazlar? It would be a lot more fun if he were around, plus he could read his beloved dating disasters thread!

It bought Gaz just naffed off?

    Evening Mongs,

Been out in the Thames for a BREXIT boat party. Actually not bothered what it was for as free booze and food were involved. Onwards to BREXIT frenzy for the rest of the week.

Nope, got banned for one reason or another, however I think it's been long enough to be honest.

    Voting Thursday
    Morning Losers!

Well today's the day. Get your ar5e in gear and get to the polling station you're registered at. I don't give a damn if you can't be bothered, get moving! I f you don't vote, then shut the furk up if it doesn't go your way!

So today I'm voting, then heading over to my dog-walking friends house. Today we're actually taking the dog out as we're knackered. We're then off to a concert this evening. Proper posh we are.

    Morning all,
More than a little moist out there today, stopped at the polling station on the way in just as the doors opened. Agree with TKM, get out there and vote. But remember because f the high turnout expected today is only for voting remain, leave voting day is now tomorrow. That may not be entirely true but a high turnout is expected. The EPO was talking to the polling staff at work and they were talking about an 85% turnout.
Curry last night was rather sportier than expected, singing Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire this morning. And it burns burns burns...

Morning all, not voted yet doing it on the way back home, may even nip home an do it on lunch as it'll be a bit quieter.
Got bored quite yesterday after work so went for a little drive spotted Ivinghoe so thought id have a gander, which turned into a nice little walk to the top of the beacon. One to remember to ride soon I think.
For somewhere thats flat they are some nice views over the Chiltens.

Anywho, today is damp and I'm bored already, creepy minion has already said he didn't sleep well so I'll be hooking up the PSU soon to get some juice in it ready for later.

    Yep got to vote

Just got to get away from Birmingham at a reasonable time as we want to take the kids to see the process

The polling station isn't far from the pub...... :)

Though I expect the wife will want me to fit the dishwasher that's getting delivered - 4 mths is a long time without one

The Mrs has worked a lot of polling stations and said it gets busier from 5 in the evenings so a lunchtime visit would be a good idea.

    Morning,
Voted on my way in to work so arrived a little later than usual as I needed to get petrol and food on my way in as well. Still not much to do at work so today will be spent twiddling my thumbs.

Good point, get voting folks, or else bg will have to come back to the UK :D

It's the calm before tomorrows storm I think. The hound is having his very own 'BREXIT' as he's in the vets for the snip today. I feel sorry for him.

    'sup bitches,

6 days left at work so procrastination is in overdrive. Gonna sack a naughty minion before I go, keep things interesting.

Went to vote before work this morning. It was quiet so I guess those wanting to Leave were still in bed watching Jeremy Kyle.

Anyway, onwards to doing sod all!

    Independence Day Friday
    Morning Losers!

Well, I slept terribly last night, not sure why. Woke up this morning, the sun is shining, I heard birds tweeting, cars moving. Funny as reading Facebook I imagined the world had ended.

It will be interesting to see what happens now. I'm surprised, but not that surprised. Let's seize the bull by the horns and just deal with it.

    Morning,

Well todays going to be fun working onsite in a non UK financial company who have loads of bikes in London and Milton Keynes :|
Already had one person turn up and say "its all to much" and go home. Creepy minion seems to think Boris Johnson will stamp for Prime minister with Farage as his number two (failing to realise they are two different political parties).
Car park was weirdly quiet this morning as well.
Office wise, boring again its Friday some dress down day for cats protection league which we didn't know about as per. Conference call later about some project we have no idea about rolling out something ive never seen to a site that doesn't exist yet.

    Afternoon,
Currently debating which country would be better to live in than this one. Toss up between Canada and New Zealand at the moment. We'll probably not move but it's worth considering the options. Would they even take political refugees anyway?
Anyway, busy morning, in that I had two jobs to do. Lazy afternoon, in that I've done one job and plan to go home at about 3 to be home for my son to celebrate his birthday a bit.

So you're looking up leaving a country that's exiting the EU... to join a country that's not in the EU...?

That already has trade deals in place and a stable economy.

    Afternoon all,
Strange day at work to say the least. Small bonus in that all are foreign account customers are paying up early whilst the exchange rate is down. Hopefully this means it will recover. Lots of customers asking what will happen, obviously nobody has a clue. Going to a barbecue later then to Birmingham Uni with the boy tomorrow.

This and it's something we've been thinking about for a long time. Waiting on the outcome of a long running case before we make any big changes, been like living in limbo for the last few years unable to make any firm long term plans.

Bugger, looks like bg is coming home after all :)

Busy day for me as I look after our BREXIT planning group at work. That's me in a job for a few years. Had fish 'n' chips for dinner as that felt appropriate somehow...now supping beer and watching the media storm on telly.

Maybe those kind of activities should be posted on a more appropriate site.

I'm cleaning my bike and getting back out tomorrow. Sherwood Pines. Nothing much today, maybe pub for food later. Hope the weather stays dry this weekend.

If you've been thinking about it anyway, then that makes sense, I think a lot of people are looking at this as the 'excuse' they need to finally emigrate. Personally, I'm quite looking forward to seeing what deals we can come up with. It's like that first move of jumping into the Freelance world, when you've been used to the comfort of a regular paycheck from an employer.

    Morning Losers!
Nice day here today so I'm going to potter around on my bike for a little while, get the old legs moving again as... well, things may be being planned...
After that, I need to buy a few things and sort my house out a bit. Generally a decent, relaxed pace day.

    Afternoon Fellow Brexiteers (and bg),

A day of jobs as normality returns for now. And the footy is back. Pity it looks like its about to tank down again!

    Sunday

    Morning Losers!

Quiet in here this weekend, although plenty moaning in the EU thread. Makes interesting reading anyway! Today is a normal Sunday for me, not much to report. I have to collect my parents from a service station this afternoon, but that's about it.

Got out on the bike (road sadly) yesterday and pootled around the area. Problem with living half way up the Pennines, is that your ride either starts or finishes (or both!) with a huuuuge climb! Having not ridden for a long time, I figured I'd stick to going round the hill without going up or down. Some muscles had to come out of retirement, but it was good.
