    Evenin,

It was a bit fresh pedalling today - we're talking Newcastle barbeque weather :)

Got back a bit late as we were trying to finish off our quarterly reporting and one of the minions put a number in as a negative she I should have been a positive, screwing up the whole thing. I spottedit and left him to put it right...

Yay, finished our quarterly reporting and now out for a beer or two plus pub grub. Its been a long day so well deserved. Sod this dry January malarkey, specially as there's no chance of skiing.

    How did it go?

I went home in the afternoon to read a document so boring it would be the equivalent of looking at the Medusa for some people. Had a good pedal in though and will retrieve the bike tomorrow.

    Afternoon ditch diggers,
Traditional Thursday hangover nowhere to be seen, but I still feel like sh!t because of this poxy man flu. I haven't had a drink or ridden a bicycle in over a week and I'm getting the right hump. I've mainly been taking it out on my work colleagues. Although listening to someone calling a number and asking to speak to Mike Rotch did cheer me up quite a bit. Not too long and I've got the delightful drive home.

    Evening tw@s,

Did my best tree surgeon impression today, apparently it'll recover in a few years! Might have got a bit of sun burn as the weather was a bit good.

    Onwards to the weekend!

    :D

I remember the good old days when we used to put calls through to secretaries in the (open plan) office, tell them there was an urgent call for a visitor and ask them to shout out and see if either Mike Hunt, Phil McCraken or Hugh Jarse could come to the phone.

Not too much doing today, trip to the dentist followed by lots of work then a pedal home. Got home and saw an email from the Inland Revenue telling me I'd got my annual tax refund so its hookers and blow time

    Evening twunts,

Was hoping for a relaxing evening but Stressbag and Stropteen are doing their best to spoil it. Apparently we now have to change our summer holiday booking so that Stropteen can go to an induction day for a sixth form that she might go to. Fark that, they can cut short their holiday and fly home, then I might have a good time for a few days.

    Morning weasels,

Up and at em today, fed the assorted animals, checked on the workers doing some stuff in the renovation and supplied coffee and went to see how poorly mrs 13 is doing.
Looks like it'll be a nice day so outdoors stuff will be happening.
    Possible boozes later.

Got a freebie to see the Chelsea - Leicester game at Stamford Bridge after a mate called to a he had a spare ticket. Just as well it was a freebie....still, we found a pub nearby to wait in until the crowds for the tube subsided a bit :)

Take away when I get home.

Got the summer holiday sorted out after Stropteens change of plan. Stropteen and Strifey are flying home after 4 nights so she can go to a sixth form open day and I get 3 nights in Cyprus all on my own. Terrible eh? :D

Not much to report today apart from being tired.

    Evening Reprobates,

Where are all you lazy bar stewards?

Pedalling day today and am going to do it again tomorrow  Starting to plan what to do in Cyprus after Stressbag and Stropteen leave me to my own devices  They don't do cider so it'll have to be hookers, blow and kebabs :)

No peddling for me as I’m working from home and racing on Saturday

Later is clean the race bike, well that’s my plan, got a feeling it will be a walk with the wife downloading everything from her day (actually a few hours) at ‘work’

Stevo - what’s stressbag going to be up to whilst your away, had a fantastic week a few years ago when I left the wife and kids in Cyprus

I'm still alive, but only just. I'm sure I posted on here a couple of days ago. Must be going senile as I'm nearly as old as you and BG.
Not been much going on as I've mostly been feeling sh!t due to the plague. Feeling a bit better now so going out for beers tonight. Only on a short day today as taking the female child up to hospital in town for a check up. This will mean getting on a train with the great unwashed, I'll have to shower in disinfectant later.

    Morning workers and jerkers.

After stalking you guys for the last couple of years and only making tentative appearances in here I thought it time to jump in.

The weather man promised snow but today is bright and sunny so I had to come to work. Damn the very eyes of the meteorologists!

    Nearly lunchtime!

I'm off out to look at idiot lanterns. Apparently we 'need' one for the bedroom. We have managed for nearly 25 years without one but I'm not going to argue with SWMBO.

    Morning swallowers of le coq,

Rubbish weather here so motivation is quite low, mrs13 gone to hospital for final xrays and check up on her broken arm.

Got a couple of ladies that have been staying in the gite leaving today, they were house hunting out here. Not my finest hour calling the more manlier of the two Dave, but we live and learn!
