    Morning fudge packers,
No running for me, obviously this is only because runnists always look so bloody miserable and nothing to do with my knees being shot. So long as it isn't Stevo's walking arm that's damaged I'm sure he'll be fine.
I feel significantly better than I did yesterday, seems I wasn't the only one dying of hangover yesterday. If I did anything embarrassing nobody else can remember either which is a good thing. Haven't seen the lovely temp yet though.
I've only had one cup of tea so far and the chief tea maker is off, I might have to make my own cup if this carries on. It's just not good enough.

Morning, walkers, murderers, paedos and roadies,

Totally miserable weather here so it'll be indoors based diy today, got my folks here so there's an extra couple of pairs of hands to help.

I can cut the running down to once a week now I'm back on the bike :) Rode in this morning and apart from the odd twinge when going over rough bits, no problem. May have even loosened it up a bit, but downhill is still definitely off the menu - just as well it's the off season.

Now stuffing my face while getting stuck into the joys of global tax planning...

Haven't done a big run since I mucked up my body doing the ultra - cycling is much easier and fun!

Cycled to a local branch today - so feel better for a bit of exercise

Now in watching Star Wars with a sick kid whilst the wife is at the pub with the MIL :(

Shouldn't I sleep better with no ale?

Today is longish commute and I imagine the MIL for another night, so either pub or turbo

Hopefully the kitchen should be finished by the decorator today so we can get rid of all tradesman as I've had enough now

I slept like a log, only had the one beer. Getting quite behind with the beer advent calendar as I keep going out drinking. Got a half day to take the old man to see the quacks to get prodded, poked and bled. Out to the pub later for a change. Until then drinking tea and stealing cake at every opportunity.

It's work Christmas party time shortly...I shall try to be sensible and watch everyone else falling around the place. No pics unfortunately...

Not fit to be called a crudder with that kind of attitude.
I popped out for a quiet drink with a couple of neighbours a while ago. Seem to have had rather more than a couple, whoops.

Up early to tend to the SS, then off to an office too far away - but political games demand a show and tell

Later is my old chap works Christmas party but I’m driving :(

Vaguely sensible...avoided the hangover this morning and managed a good chat with the unconventionally good looking girl in the legal department who underestimated my age by 11 years :) and was very appreciative of the bacon sarnie I got her this morning (I made myself most popular person in the office by buying a round).

Today has involved doing some work while having a good laugh about last night and watching some of the minions suffering with hangovers.

    Evening pod lickers,

Decent progress in the new workshop area today, had the old man rounding off all my screw driver bits so he was happy.

Now watching shyte on telly after shovelling some grub in my fat face. Feel like my wine consumption has been down of late so I'm about to remedy that.

    Evening Gimboids,

Had a bit of a lie in and pleasant day working at home as the work tails off, or I delegate and Teflon desk stuff to other people :) Also got the gap at the back of my gob finally finished off down at the dentist, though the wallet took a bit of a pounding.

    Now chilling with some plonk.

    Evening Skivers,

Managed a full half days work before leaving the minions to it. Had my dodgy shoulder MRI scanned and had a bit of a snooze in the process. Been for a run and just about to deliver a few local Christmas cards before settling down with a cider or two :)

    Evening ditch dwellers,
Work is done for the year at last. Stopped to pick something up in town on the way home, it was manic so I legged it sharpish. Got to do an airport run later so no boozing tonight unfortunately.
Old man had his chemo today, seems to have reacted to it badly as his speech went funny. Old dear now sitting in A&E with him awaiting test results. Hopefully nothing major.

    Fingers crossed V68.

    Evening bellends,

More man cave/workshop organisation today, then fish n chips, then red wine, then telly. Easy life.

    Morning facial appreciators,

This evenings lash up with friends has been cancelled due to fathers manflu, hopefully he keeps it to himself! To that end i feel some more diy coming on which will involve some power tools of the "it could kill you" variety.

My daily personal booze targets shouldn't be affected!

    Morning ends of bells,
Lazy morning after a bit of a stressful evening, thanks bg. Mercifully it seems it was just a reaction to the chemo. At one point they thought he’d had a minor stroke. Lots of tests and scans all came up with nothing new so all is as well as can be.
Unfortunately now have to go to a shop as the Mrs realised we’d forgotten something. Wish me luck.
    Beer later, I’ll need it.

    Afternoon Rubberneckers,

Good lie in was had this morning. Managed to brave the scrum at Waitrose then it's a bit of taxi duty and getting the car washed as its a disgrace. More booze later, mainly to keep me sane as Strifey is on form today.

    Morning last minute shoppers,

Grey day here so more internal diy..........woop, woop! No hangover either, mind only managed a bottle of wine between us. This will be rectified tomorrow morning when the bucks fizz for brekkie will lead into the usual beers, wines and spirits.

Still haven't got the Mrs a present but a nicely tied bow around my obvious should suffice.

    Afternoon Christmas Gits,

Busy day - had a lie in, nipped down to Waitrose to see the Waitrose Christmas girls, went round to my cousin'shouse for lunch and now doing Dads taxi stuff before cracking open the frog and monging in front of the telly :)

We're going to try and take it down a notch or two next year.

Standards have slipped, this place is far too civilised at the moment.

    Evening fuckwits

Home for Christmas. Parents aren’t arguing, brother is sulking, cat has had enough and gone to find some peace and quiet. I’m just sat here enjoying be chaos.

Any news from officer Mule yet?

Did I mention I hate Christmas? Reasons below:
    1) waste- so much fucking wrapping paper and cracker waste, excessive food packaging, it’s ridiculous, I’ve used newspaper- NB if doing so page 3 isn’t appropriate for the mother or grandparents.
    2) religious mongtards criticising non-religious people or those of other faiths for celebrating. There were festivities this time of year long before you their religion was invented, which they’ve bloody tried to take over, knobs.
    3) Theresa May had an excuse to make a speech, along with all those other politician cnuts. Just shut the fuck up and do something productive like changing our passports to a glittery gold colour
4)Family- it’s bad enough being related to them but having to see them as well? I mean come on!
    5) buying gifts- see above
    6) getting presents- I appreciate the effort but the fact you bought me a Beano annual and I liked it 20 years ago doesn’t mean I’m still super thrilled to get one each year. The pictures aren’t the same and it’s too PC now, ergo it’s crap.
    7) People going on about how much weight they’ve gained and how annoyed they are. Chances are you’ve not gained that much and you were already fat.
    8) Crap on TV. Unless there’s Bomd films on sponsored by Rennies then I’m not interested. Must be Sean Connery or Roger Moore.
    9) irritating knobs stood outside singing songs
    10) being expected to go home, why wouldn’t they let me work?
    11) the fact certain food items are “festive” or “seasonal” - if they’re nice they should be available all year round, if they’re not then they shouldn’t bloody exist
    12) more excuses for sales which start earlier and earlier and earlier every year, it’s pathetic. Personally I wait until mid January and get on eBay, if anyone is interested there’ll more than likely be a Beano album going to 1p plus postage.
