    Evening Tards,

All packed for a three day trip to Poland where its the joys of the annual finance conference. Really looking forward to the walking tour of Gdansk when its minus 20. On the plus side, the vodka will be good and the hookers will be cheap.

I've heard it takes longer to recover at your ripe old age.
Good weekend of not doing a tremendous amount was much needed. Discovered a new trendy beer shop in town yesterday so I thought it my duty to try some even if I don't have a hipster beard. Some of the brews were eye wateringly expensive so I avoided them as I'm not convinced more expensive is better where beer is concerned. £18 for a bottle of beer seemed a bit steep however poncy the label.
Now having a rather dull morning in a moist Hanworth, I can think of places I'd rather be. Day off tomorrow to take the old man into hospital, at least I get a lie in.
Need some more coffee to get me through the day, drinking whiskey at me desk without the coffee is frowned upon for some reason.

Off to sunny Luton soon to camp out in a hotel as my flight is at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning. I've been working overtime rather than go there! Ahh, the joys...

    Afternoon from Gdansk :)

Done our presentation practice and it'll be time for vodka and dumplings soon. It's a bit nippy out, the sort of weather that has the Geordies firing up their barbeques.

    Evening an4l lube lickers,

Poland eh? Vodka eh? Dumplings eh? Sounds like a right laugh, is the presentation in Polish?

Been a busy bg, getting the downstairs floor of the renovation ready for a few ton of cement next week, only snag is it has to be totally level for the underfloor heating system, this could be a problem as I'm involved!!

More floor prep tomorrow to look forward to.

Not unless I magically learn how to speak Polish by tomorrow.

On the way back from the restaurant I was invited by a nice young lady to go the 'White Orchid Club'. Pity I was with a few of the girls from work...

    Morning bumders

Intense few weeks at work, now for a chilled few weeks at work and mucking around on bikes. Back home for a couple of todays as I'm collecting a new CX bike which will hopefully get me more motivated to get out and explore the mountains around me in Waleshire.

Morning bandits of the aris' variety,
Been a weird few days and I 'm not convinced if I'm coming or going. No sticky patch so I must be going.
Almost bought a new frame last night. Took a shine to a fancy Vitus CX frame that was on sale at a good price. Sought permission from the management. Not only did she say I should go for it but she gave me her credit card so she could buy it for me. All sizes in stock except the one I need. Ballcocks!
Anyway, a delightful day of work awaits. This will be followed by a detour to the pub.

    Evening Wasters,

Now up North after the journey from hell - remember now why driving 270 miles on a Friday afternoon is a daft thing to do. Anyhow, now settled in for this eve and will enjoy a monumental sleep in tomorrow morning :)

    Yeah Saturday

Eldest rugrats birthday party today, so despite them all wanting to play on gadgets it’s old school fun in the woods with zip wire, rope swings and paintball

Later is a chilled pub meal as some of the brats are staying over

Morning babysitters and other assorted child care specialists,

Last nights rugby at Angouleme was a bit moist but they won so all was good there.

Today is minor diy with some measuring for windows to see what we can buy off the shelf! Knowing my luck they will all need to be custom made which will suck a large un but needs must.

More rugby with a definite chance of booze later.

    Toodles.

    Evening ‘tards,
Day of pottering has been had. Stripped the green bike to give it a clean and a proper service. Realised I couldn’t get to half my stuff as there is a car in the way so have given up until tomorrow. Laziness and apathy is the way.
Hope all goes well in the frozen wastelands of the north Stevo, also hope TLW survives the influx of barely teenage yoof. Give them all a load of booze, what could possibly go wrong?

Later is over to the landlords house for his birthday party

I was thinking the yoof, but you could get the oldies in the home pissed up. Just make sure you leave before they lose all bladder control.
Must say my experience with yoof is like TLW’s, most of them are decent kids. The idiots have parents that are idiots, they are no worse than previous generations. Doesn’t make for good old man ranting though.
Anyway, sunny but cold here, need to clean the bike and put it back together. Later is off to the ‘rents for a visit and try to get the old man out for a short stroll.

Getting the oldies trolleyed could be amusing though not sure it would make some of them behave any different :)

Quicker trip home despite having to take a detour as the A1 was completely blocked. Back to reality tomorrow. Ho hum.

Came home early to supervise lazy child and hound, though not sure why supervising laziness is needed. May pedal tomorrow as I need the exercise after last weeks food and drink extravaganza in Poland. Mind you this weather is hacking me off, I need a holiday!
