Sagan has got to be seriously fed up of this second place thing.

And tangling with a supporters camera didnt help - practically no one else would have stayed on his bike but even Stybar lost 10-15 seconds getting himself straight and reclipping in. Still a huge stretch to say he had the race taken from him - however he was looking good sticking with Cancellara and hadn't done any of the driving to catch the two Vans as he had a teammate up front. Frankly not the worst commentary bollox we will hear before the end of the season

    Flipping good win, that

ffs, I've been trying to make sense of that for about ten minutes. More sleep needed, clearly.

I'd like to point out that the TA PN combo is, and always was, excellent.

Enjoy the scenery, watch the finish, flick over, do it all again.

    Lovely.

Rubbish for my productivity but lovely.

You're supposed to get all your work done between October and February, silly.

Well yeah - bonus season has just finished innit.

Most end of years finish around this time of year so budgets get freed up again etc.

This ^ . And mornings spent re-building my summer bike - down to indexing and checking :-)

    1 Zdenek Stybar Etixx – Quick-Step 5:33:50
2 Greg Van Avermaet BMC Racing Team +9″
3 Tejay Van Garderen BMC Racing Team +9″

In fact Stybar has everything apart from the White Jersey

    Stage 4 Friday 11th march 2016
Castelnuovo Val di Cecina to Montalto di Castro 176 km (undulating)
    Montecastelli_09.jpg
Scenery is bit fairy tail at the beginning - this is the village of Montecastelli Pisano which the riders pass after a few km - so probably not to be seen on the coverage

There's insufficient stagger and Eurosport clearly thinks TA is better than P-N, so the Vuelta slips ever lower.
  • What is it with colonial cycling magazines and Taylor Phinney's leg? He's got another piece about how his leg hurts during TA on Velonews!

So could be a Cavendish vs Gavira show down. If Gavira is as quick after 200km as he is on the track, Cavendish might have a problem.

Meanwhile the break has 37s with 6km to go.

Gavira wins from Caleb Ewan. Cavendish didn't contest as he was setting up someone else.

    EBH and the rest nowhere.
Sagan in 3rd followed by a bunch of 3rd rate sprinters.
2 hours of coverage, 2kms of racing.
    When's the pave back?

Edit: There's a Sky rider missing from the results.
    Viviani beat Sagan home.

    Rule Breach

    Rule #92

    No Sprinting From the Hoods
The only exception is riders whose name starts with Guiseppe and ends with Saronni.

The only exception is when you win. Like a soft penalty in football.
