    Delaney says:
We’re trying to make it (the team) completely sustainable and that’s our uniqueness

    What a statement!

An Amazon for bikes... what unlike Wiggle or BikeExchange?

They're obviously planning on paying no tax.

''predicted to be able to fund the team by year three of the project'

    Mmmmm

The only surprise here is that Sky took so long to get shut of him
Interesting statement. I think Sky will miss Swift.

This has got Le Groupement written all over it.

It will be funded by 'Amazon for bikes'.

What are the odds on the UCI deposit being needed within the first year?

How much are they going to knock out Ant+ cadence and speed sensors :?: :?: :?:

They've picked up a few IAM Riders, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Looks like he's already started. Great work for Cav yesterday.

Or is he going to Bahrain? Maybe it's supposed to be the Colnago logo...

If it is, he'll be in the wrong team, Colnago are sponsoring Lampre/TJ Sport, no?

Joaquim Rodriguez confirmed with Bahrain-Merida on a one year deal, with a backroom role for the two seasons after 2017.

I hope I'm wrong, but if feels like one season too many for me.

Just wanted to point out that there ain't anything wrong with money being a factor to keep him on another year. Be interesting to see how this Bahrain-Merida team pans out and his role within in.

I thought it was so they could have his WT points this season and presumably next season he can help provide some insignt to the team,

This might be right and at Dimension Datas expense as they get relegated

Colour me shocked, Richmond Racer was wrong!

Adam Blythe, Larry Warbasse, Andy Fenn, Mark Christian and Dan Pearson confirmed to Aqua Blue Sport.

I guess that team is the ultimate 'deal or no deal' situation for some riders at this point in time.

WHAT AM I WRONG ABOUT? Sauce...

Edit: Oh, Blythe and DiData, Yeah, someone's getting duffed up for giving me the wrong steer on that one

In other news, very pleased for Christian and Pearson landing pro contracts

There's also a strong Irish connection, with Trinity (Andrew McQuaid) helping place some of their riders there

You're normally 100% reliable. Duff them up good and proper.

Definitely good to see some of the Wiggins' youngsters getting a new gig. Let's hope our previous reservations about this team are unfounded. With the riders they've got, they ought to get entries to some decent races.

For a bigger and better team, I hope. He's been one of the riders clocking up their results

Are One Pro continuing next year? All their better riders seem to be off to pastures new.
