    Aqua Blue Sport. I hadn't heard of them until ten minutes ago. They're a new Irish Pro Continental Team.

    They've signed Matt Brammeier, Connor Dunne, Martyn Irvine and Lars Petter Nordhaug.

    He did, at the end of last year. He's only in his early thirties though.

    More on the team here;

    Four years guaranteed funding from an Irish investor. Nikki Sorensen, ex-Tinkoff, is one of the sports directors and Alan Farrell, who I think was a Team Sky doctor, is there too.

    The funding, I'm not so certain is actually there as worded.

    I know all the riders were lied to about the team apparently having bought a bunch of vehicles off IAM, when Bahrain had actually bought them. There's still some questions about this setup, but I hope it all goes as planned.

    It's not the first time at Pro Conti though don't forget, Chappell has done it at One, at least OPC has some other decent corporate financing behind it too.

    We'll just have to see. Riders have been misled so far. But Trinity are handling lots of things and they must be happy with riders they managed being there. Irvine.. a great Irish name, but he's past it.

    So are Diego Rosa and Kenny Ellisonde Sky bound? There's been a lot of speculation that they are but nothing official yet.

    Comic reporting the announcement is imminent, along with Lukasz Wisniowski (Etixx–Quick-Step), and kit by Castelli.

    Yeah, I saw that. Wisniowski has already been confirmed by the team. Still no official confirmation on Rosa or Ellisonde though.

    Rob Hatch said Rosa was a done deal this afternoon, if that means owt.

    Swiss Pro-Continental team Team Roth will stop at the end of 2016. Following the demise of IAM it seems that Swiss cycling is finding sponsors thin on the ground at the moment.
