Update - I'll be doing a couple of podcasts with @JeroenSwart next week, discussing the obvious, but also broader views on doping in sport
Ross Tucker @Scienceofsport · 12m12 minutes ago
Those podcasts will be with @lionelbirnie (@cycling_podcast) & @SSbike. Not sure of exact dates, will post soon, but should be interesting!
Discussing the obvious? I can't think of anything that's caused any fuss this week.
What to buy the missus for Christmas, and which wine to serve with the turkey.
( although I'm not sure Vayer drinks wine.....)
Here you go fella, pop back in.

True but over 6,500 people still think he has something relevant to say on cycling (or are interested in how he stacks the mats at the end of the lesson)0 -

One does one's best.
What was mind-boggling was that he didn't even seem to understand, in the slightest, what was being explained to him. I know he's a PE teacher not a maths teacher, but I honestly think he'd struggle to count the correct number of netball players on the team.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Tbh mate, the majority of your posts are a list of cyclists who either were professional in the early-mid '00s, or names that I've never heard of and don't bring up anything even if I google "<X name> cycling".
We get it. You're in the know. Why not branch out beyond tired refererences and chat about, y'know actual racing. You're entitled to your opinion even if it's wrong, but it's normally good practice when you touch upon known trolling topics to branch out. Gives you more chance for benefit of the doubt.
Be keen to know who's riding style you like; what your favourite 2015 race was?
I don't think you've shared any of that with anyone. Any reason why that is?0 -

I agree.
Vayer has attacked the messenger Swart with a smokescreen of innuendo, supposition, false facts and fiddled numbers.

Well said Rick. The trolls are so tedious.0 -
Fans of The Cycling Podcast should give them a listen - to part convo with Swart and Tucker, with a little comment part at the end.
Freibe nails it. Birnie pokes Tucker a bit and Swart has a word or two for Vayer.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

What really made that clear was nothing to with cycling but his remarks about Castor Semenya, who has gender issues (nothing suspicious - read Epstein for info on chromosomes). He wanted all the medical information out there so we could be sure - there was no empathy for Semenya herself (who was 18 at the time), her rights and any prejudice she could face.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Around 18:00 Swart gives the 'faster than Armstrong' narrative a kicking. Tucker is slimy and disingenuous against the clarity from Swart: especially on the context of Froome's performances.
I doubt Brailsford will survive this confirmation that he couldn't manage the most gifted rider of his generation 8) This is perhaps the real reason Sky is unwilling to release Froome data around the 2011 'transformation'....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -
