It's almost like he wants something Bad! to happen (Reichstag, anyone?) so he can neuter the judiciary. Or am I being silly? All lies and jest..still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest....0 -

There's quite a big difference between the Weimar republic and the United States.
Fighting against over 200 years of adherence to the constitution, with surprisingly little tinkering, against a 14 year old government forced on a nation through losing a world war, which couldn't hold back the tides of the biggest economic crash the world has ever seen (which even the US constitution survived broadly unscathed and not much less democratic).0 -

Indeed, you both recognise there are big differences. However, for me, the similarities are more than troublesome; they're disturbing.Ben

The major concern viewing from afar is that the mere fact that "the establishment" and most people in the media are opposed to something makes it popular with Trump voters. The rights and wrongs of the individual issue does not really matter.0

Just seen a headline that Trump has been handed the nuclear keys... those would be the ones that end humanity as we know it then. What could possibly go wrong?0

It should be headline news. It's also very sneaky, cover it and you give coverage to so many events. Even though you did. Any who side with him will be aghast at just how many.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

The list of terrorist incidents which wouldn't pass muster on here. Trump issued it to back up his laughable claim that terrorism is now so commonplace that it goes unreported.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

It really is quite depressing that the most powerful country in the world is run by adults that are acting like the worst kind of teenagers.0 -

Hang on a minute if 129 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Paris in November 2015 and it was not reported by the media then he has a point. Does anybody have any high level contacts that could confirm whether this took place and if so why it was not reported?0 -

I like to think that someone would put a bullet in his head if he tried to launch nukes.
A good start would be confiscating the idiot's phone, as V68 says, it's like we're listening to the rantings of a teenager. There must be a room full of advisers sitting full time with their heads in their hands.

Whats becoming more clear everyday, innocent people are going to die because of this f*ckwit. And that's considering that the incident in Canada wasn't because of his bile.
Some manic supporter is probably getting tooled up as we speak pissed off with the judge/media ready to go to "war".
Scary times.0 -

The horrifying thing is, they know exactly what they are saying/doing. There is an agenda behind everything they say.0 -

In Reference to what Dinyull has said I reckon the Canadian mosque attacker was certainly fuelled by what is going on in the US. I have no doubt more people will die as a result on both sides. What better recruitment for ISIS could there be? Tell impressionable young Muslims they are being persecuted and need to fight back, just look at the most powerful leader in the western world. Then he is fuelling the fires of the right wing extremists.0 -

It's a mixture of things that were huge news at the time, and things like "One police officer wounded in knife attack" in a foreign country. That wouldn't be of interest to people in the USA. It wouldn't even be news if it happened in the USA. It's weird.0 -

It is. I don't think it's random. I think it's a bonkers list where they claim that no incident has ever had enough coverage and added in those which, like Leytonstone here, passed them by because, well, you know, one mental bloke.
But look at it. No one's going to google all of those (unless you have committed press). It's too much work to analyse. So they get away with saying that no one covers these incidents and there are many of them.
This is either very clever or has the effect of being so.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

This has the full list, and the "attakers". Includes such under reported incidents as the Nice and Berlin truck attacks, the Paris and Brussels attacks, the downing of the airliner in Egypt, the Florida nightclub attack.

Be interesting to know what was missing from their list and if there is any similarity between them.0 -

But as BTR says, they are now talking about a long list of attacks. Whether they were originally reported or not doesn't make any difference.0 -

ever think we are being played by a small group of people?
£350m to the NHS dominated the agenda because the other side kept shouting about it being made up rubbish.0
