Who has been killed in / by the Brexit process Rick?
    The MP Jo Cox.

FWIW not even in the states have they started killing elected political leaders.
They've tried to. Several were shot.
    Errr - wtaf Richard? Seriously?

Martin Luther King and Malcolm X spring immediately to mind together with the two mentioned above.

I thought it was clear he meant in the current campaign?
i thought it was clear he was clueless about US political history, principles and social demographics.

I doubt anyone had forgotten but in reality wasn't that really a case of someone with psychological issues with Brexit just being a trigger / excuse? I don't think even Farage was pushing the boundaries of advocating the masses to attach Parliament (although who knows what he would have done if the vote had gone against him).

I am hoping that once out of office Twitter and Facebook just ban him as lets face it most of what he posts is factually incorrect. The media should only then do interviews with him to their own agenda and if he walks out then so be it. I am often proven wrong by Trump but my hope is that if the media is responsible and the internet does not make it easy for him he will just be that crazy guy on the corner as his base will move onto the next bat shit dude to vote for.

Fair enough, that one slipped me by although it has less resonance as a threat in a country where only a tiny number of people have access to firearms.

One is a necessary precursor for the other.
  • This boy doesn't look like he'd be the most responsible type of gun owner.

I'm not saying he would have used it, but it would have changed the dynamic with law enforcement.

The Republicans could always try doing popular things? Then they might not always get a minority of the vote.

I did see an interview where Trump fans praised the affordable care act, but said how terrible Obamacare was.

    No its not.

    Right....

Loads of Trumpers were tooled up the nines during the past 4 years. More people were killed by Trumpers driving cars than Trumpers shooting people.

Trumpers carry guns because it adds to their ego, self image and 2A rights.

They know that if they start shooting its going to go very bad for them.

They will continue to carry guns and dress like the military but they won't use them.

If I have to explain this to you, well.....

How many average bods in the street know the proper name for the Council Tax? Or the Bedroom Tax? Brexit?

It was idiotic because you completely missed the point. It was a comment on the irony of the lawmakers who are against gun control being protected by the unusually strong gun laws in the city in which they work.

Coincidentally CNN made exactly this point just now.

I am not sure about them getting too much slack but the difference is clear and extremely sad to watch.

It is not hard to carry a gun. The stats suggest it is hard for a good number to do without getting shot or shooting someone else. I am super glad I don't live in a country with guns as it is arguable a good number should not have cars.

Yes, i do know how to carry a gun Richard. Lots of different kinds in fact. I'm actually very good at it. I do it so you and your family and your dinner party guests and their friends are safe.

If you knew me you would know that I hate, detest and can't stand the friggin' things. I have to patch up the damage they cause. If I could get rid of every one of the stupid things I would.

So even without them holding many guns, law enforcement shot one person dead. Do you seriously think that it would have been as restrained if the rioters were walking around in there armed? Or that at least one of those fucking idiots wouldn't have opened fire into the air?
