Just wait, next few days people will be turning up at US hospitals after either making home brew disinfectant inhalers (thinking hot bleach in a bowel an towel over your head) or various forms of poisoning from drinking or injecting themselves with things.
Oh an lots of sun stroke or partial blindness from sun or really bright lights

Iran has already had 100s of deaths from people drinking bleach.
TBF, Iran has had lots of people licking shrines, either as a cure, or to prove it can’t do them any harm. Drinking bleach seems somehow rational in comparison.
True but I don't think they have their head of state actively encouraging it.

A lot of Americans have difficulty in distinguishing between the presidency as a concept, and the morons they place there. They seem to think of presidents like pharoes - once in place, they are god like and to criticise a president is to criticise America itself, what it stands for and indeed all Americans.

At any one time, at least the stupidest half of the US electorate think this way.

On a serious note, all President and Prime Ministers should have a brain scan every six months.

Perhaps extend that to all presidential and prime ministerial candidates should have a brain scan before any election?

so you think the electorate should not be allowed to vote for a mentalist?
    what about being a fantasist
if a proven liar do we need to know if they realise they are lying

sure if a majority of the electorate want a lying, crooked fantasist then they should be able to have it

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Maybe, if it was practical.

Trump's now claiming his comments about ingesting or injecting bleach to cure CV19 were sarcasm... yeah, right. Anyways, maybe some of his supporters will have missed that 'sarcasm', and tried his idea... Darwinism in action...

That transcript above says to me, having been through the parent with dementia experience, that covfefe-man is way up the scale. Just as well he's not in any position of significance or responsibility.

I've thought that for some time. He's only there because the GOP still think he's useful to push their extreme agenda, and he's malleable. I think any analysis of his language usage would point very heavily to serious loss of short term working memory (as in seconds) that makes cogent speech possible (or not).

And I made the above comment before reading the transcript. Blimey, he's well gone... there are some vestiges of normal language and thought there, but they're coming out randomised, only held together by his basest instincts.

I read a good book on eloquence by the linguist David Crystal, and he used a speech by Obama both to demonstrate effective use of language ('eloquence') and to strike an optimistic note for the future. It's ironic (and depressing) to read it now...

Any deaths reported yet from disinfectant injections?

Read that Maryland has around 100 odd emergency call outs to people trying it out.

Just heard of one, a baptist minister died after drinking Draino.

Donald Trump is to be charged with Bleach of the Priest

Hilarious. Well, it would be, if he weren't POTUS in the middle of a pandemic and apparently as high as a kite.
