    ahhh
NEWS: Johnny McEntee was fired because he is currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes, a source familiar with his firing tells CNN. This source says the charges are not Trump related.

And McEntee has now been hired by the Trump campaign.

Yep. He's accused of 'serious financial crimes' so can only work on re-electing the President.

“It’s the bowling ball test. They take a bowling ball from 20 feet up in the air and drop it on the hood of the car,” Trump said of Japan. “If the hood dents, the car doesn’t qualify. It’s horrible,” he said. It was unclear what he was talking about.

So Trump admits to lying to Justin Trudeau, of course we know Trump is a compulsive liar, but admitting it on tape, how on earth is any world leader supposed to trust him? Also, as much as admitted that the tariffs he wants to put on steel/Alu is just to give him a bargaining position

The thing I liked most about that was, he was admitting it to the people who are funding him.

Possibly talking about Japanese import rules. Bicycles IIRC had a rule something like a bike couldn't be imported unless a keiran had been won in Japan on it, and you couldn't race on one as you couldn't import it.
Something like that and that was quite a while ago so may have changed.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

In a similar vein I think the French needed all Japanese TVs checked - by one man

this is what is known as non-tariff trade barriers.

We could always take them to the WTO but they are down to three possible tribunal members as the USA refuses to sign off new members

The Canadians can't work out what meeting it was, and that it may have been a phone call - so it seems likely that he lied, then was lying when he bragged about lying.

Only saw tha5 in the Guardian or Telegraph so no insider/really knowledgeable links from my side.

Only a matter of time before it happened though? After all, that’s like the center of it.

After your stellar work on the Russia case, I thought you'd be a shoe in.

You spend too much time admiring those in lab coats, that's your problem. Sad.

Didn't he use a government flight for his honeymoon with his 'allegedly' money grabbing scottish actress wife?
ABC News reports that Mnuchin requested a federal government jets for his and Linton’s getaway to France, Italy, and Scotland this summer. According to an Air Force spokesman, a U.S. Air Force jet typically costs around $25,000 an hour to operate

Meanwhile Putin is sat their smirking about toothless Blighty over the assassinations and attempted assassinations in the UK (most probably because of the Russian monopoly of Western European gas supplies) and on the other side of the pond, a muppet who he helped gain office to sow dischord in the US.
