Trek Madone 9.9
Are they doing the three "fit" types still? I recall earlier Madones had varying headtube lengths, to suit sportive riders right through to those who want to race.
The Madone 9.9 is clearly a stonking piece of kit, but that one in the photo looks a little bit sit up and beg.
i don't see the point in these new super aero road bikes being made for anyone other than a flat out racer, the marginal gains the bike provides over a standard frame will be chucked out the window when majority of people who buy them stick a load of spacers under the stem and have an upright position, bit like the new Venge, how many people will buy that who race? my guess is very few mostly by people with too much money who don't understand what they are buying0 -

Heresy. Being cursed with SRAM (polish for Sh*t) is bad enough.0 -

I think there is too much black there. If it was mine (some chance!) I'd want white seatpost/stem/bars.0 -

They called it F8W - W for wireless - yet it's the exact same frameset as mechanical or Di2, just with new paint. Complete BS. They didn't even fill in the holes in the frame where cables would normally run through! (like to the rear mech).0 -

That's surely a good thing, incase you know, you have to change from wireless. For whatever reason?0 -

No - it's the 'big' introduction of a 'new' model. It's just the same frame but with Sram. Most bikes these days can be ordered with whichever groupset you want.0 -

Have your sponsors started asking you to bad mouth bikes recently? It seems to be all you're doing here. It costs £500 less to get Dura ace Di2 than Sram W, so my point stands about replacing it.0 -

Not really sure what you're on about. If you want to run Di2 on a Pinarello F8, there is already a F8 frame. It's exactly the same as the F8W frame.
And I have no sponsors.
PS My previous comment about 'smart people' was me admitting I was an idiot for not seeing why they left the holes in the frame!0 -
