It's a sporting gap. It gives Froome some margin against cobbled/TTT accidents and any week 3 weakness. Perhaps a bigger problem is giving Contador any encouragement to believe the double, against this field, is possible. It's probably going to be a bit different riding up it today vs riding up it for the 3rd time at the end of Fleche. I could see guys like Sagan and Cancellara being much closer to Valverde than they would be at the finish of FlecheSagan and Cancellara wont come anywhere close to these Huy guys if it comes to the bottom all together.
