I never fail to be in awe of guys that can cycle at +40kph for 3 hours and more, almost half of it uphill.

68km left with 6.40 lead for Two-Lottos breakaway.

Time for the min/10k rule to to be quoted.

agreed. or indeed when the peloton covers near enough 50km during the first hour of a stage - makes me wonder why Brad could "only" manage 54kmh

TV lurking with intent at the back of the peloton. They don't know what's about to hit them.

I was going to change my pick to Keizer for today...I hate it when that happens, takes all the enjoyment out of the inevitable Jumbo second place in an hour or so!

Against nobody in terms of sprinters though, but a win is a win.

not a pure sprinters stage though - he did well to come through all those attacks on the climbs and get position - this wasn't a flat stage with a HTC leadout train - must have been getting heavy legs

The first 90 riders were given ST on stage 4.... stretching the imagination a bit isn't it?!

Strangely low-key affair ao far. Is there a GC fight left in this race?
