First stage I've managed to watch. Very good finish but what were Astana up to? Froome and Sky couldn't have asked for more help! Yates starting to look like the real deal too. Wout Poels showing his worth and hung on for 8th. Felt for Cummings who did a great ride and also for TJ, getting jumped by the others on the line was tough.
It did look strange by Astana, seemed to be for Scarponi0 -
Great effort by whole of Team Sky - Kennaugh and Deignan put in an immense effort when Tony Martin was 4 minutes up0

I'm not convinced by Nee-Ko-La0 -
Froome looks like a cycling equivalent of Paula Yates when he's pushing hard, head nodding all over the place.
I was having exact same thought.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Nibali basically torpedoed TJVG with that stint.
He might just have stayed in touch if it had been down to Poels.
Cracking race, just about every day. Certainly all the hilly stages."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Brilliant win by Froome. Looking really strong. Great news.
Amazing finish for Yates. Genuine prospect....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -
Great stage. Great race.
Simon Yates keeps getting better.
Wout Poels is quality.0 -

Glad someone spotted the deliberate mistake!0 -
Classic race and classic stage. Froome and TJVG destroying themselves for the win. I hate the pundits even suggesting its a warm up event for the Tour. Its a race, its competition, its a classic, and any rider would love to win it. :evil:0

Froome showing that he's going to be up there in the Tour if he can stay injury-free. Contador will be worried.
My favourite bit however, was Nibali chasing to catch Valverde and his reaction. There is clearly no love lost between those two.0 -

Don't think he was chasing Valv specifically. Just trying to make it tough as a platform for Little Boots.
But I did enjoy seeing the faces people behind him were pulling.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Nice to see the effort from Martin and great effort from Cummings, shame he didn't get the stage.
Another Powerful Poels Pull.
Another short attack from the stick man.
Another win and another Dauphine (4 out of the last 5 claimed by Sky).
Super ride by Yates - decision of a lifetime not to go to Sky. The forfeiture of the pleasure he has given the fans and his own personal achievement is hard to imagine had he made the wrong move.
Excellent work by TJ, shame he couldn't hold onto the turbo charged cadence.
Nice to see some moves from Valverde.
Strong show from Nibali.
Bring on the Tour so we can see some style from Quintana and Contador. The climbs are going to be insanely strong - probably the best line up of climbers of any GT I have watched.
Climb times for this Dauphine:
Pra Loup: 27.7 km/h (TJ)
Col d'Allos: 24.8 km/h (Bardet)
Le Bettex: 22.9 km/h (Froome)
Valfrejus: 24.2 km/h (Froome)Contador is the Greatest0 -

Frenchie - no display picture?
Took the one of Nibali off after yesterday's performance and haven't got access to my avatar repository on this laptop but will add one tomorrow.Mollema was quite disappointing.
Supposedly he has back problems that don't allow him to transfer power to his legs but he is confident that the doc will sort it out in time for the Tour.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Interesting.
He seems to have those a lot.0 -
A great race and great performances by all the protagonists, despite what someone on here says. You attack when you have the legs, not when a self styled arbiter of "Class" says you should. One of my favorit stage races of the last few years. Roll on the Tour and another Sky win, failing that, ABC.0

Glad to see a good fight, should be great in July. Pleased that Froome has found some form, though I feel a bit sorry for TJ on the day. His time will come I'm sure.
Simon Yates, future GT winner (can he TT?) ?0 -

Gotta see if he can get top 10 first...0 -
This event is a big deal in France and they place one rider in the top 20.0

New self-lactating skinsuit prototype (might just be a dreadful coincidence, given the recent happy announcement).

As ever.
Nothing makes me more pleased (this year).Half man, Half bike0 -
Interesting to note that Froome now has 5 victories this year (3 road stages, 2 GC's) and Contador has 2 (1 stage, 1 GC)Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0
