Hatch saying suggestions that Porte looked in same trouble as Uran. Sean suggesting this break has a fighting chance. Drama all over the place.

Teams don't let Boonen into breaks.

Hard life being a Boonen fan.

    Makes the winning sweeter.

He's only a week and a half away from the anniversary of his last win - Tour of Belgium, overall, sealed on the 1st June. His last stage win was 29th May, in the same race.

He's not actually won a WT race since P-R in 2012.

You'll have instant type 2 diabetes if he does eventually bag something...

He's not great in week 2 and he's never won in week 3 (though he hasn't been in many 3rd weeks).

Well yes but I'm hoping he'll do something since his GC lead is a wet flannel
It's not so much about winning, I just hate losing.

Peloton split in two but all four of the main riders are there. B<C riding hard. 55km and gap down to 1.40.

These descents are tricky. Chance to take some GC time for a rider willing or desperate enough to risk it. Kung just took 30s.

Virenque appears confused in the current Festina adverts. As though he's forgotten why he's come into the room with the bike in it.

25km, Kung suffering and now only has 20 secs. Break steady at 1.30.

Zakarin attacks the break with a decent gap. 1'20" to peloton. 16km. Break wins. Again.

Wow. Zakarin with 40s gap. Rigo down! Back up. Banged up.

He was drafting a car but commissaire waved it on. No teammates helping him. This could be game over.

Orica have given up. Astana at head of peloton and gap remaining stable. Poor Hesjedal been doing almost all the chasing in the group behind.
