I'd have thought Sky were just saving their legs, surely? No reason to work when you don't have to
2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

Have the sky riders out the back been hit by Montezuma's Revenge (as Bob Millar used to call it)?

Didn't look like they were saving their legs to be honest.

Not looking good for Pozzovivo, blood everywhere and not moving. No ambulance on scene yet, just a first aider. Really looks bad.

Pozzovivo down and looking very seriously injured. Possibly unconscious. Fingers-crossed he will be OK.

Hopefully the fact they didn't put him in the recovery position is a good sign. Man, that was not nice to see.

Just saying that the broadcaster shouldn't be showing the images of him on the floor, apologising for the footage etc.

Cheers. Race radio is quite quick to say when they're OK so.

Poor Pozzovivo. I really hope that is not as bad as it looks.

Italian tv saying he is moving and conscious.

Is it really necessary to show these images of Pozzovivo at the #Giro2015? Have some respect for the rider & his family! @giroditalia

OK, "everywhere" was off the mark - significant amounts visible.

Word is he's moving and conscious again.

personally the crashes are as much a part of the race for me as the sprints. I want to see it. I hope he's ok though

The first spectator that comes over really manhandles him - not sure that was wise.
