Anything could happen today I think, I've picked Viviani for PTP but the profile looks like it could cause an early GC shake-up if it's raced hard and some riders find themselves in trouble.0

This has the potential for wacky races written all over it even without the intervention of tw*ts on fixies.Correlation is not causation.0

Starts at 12.35 and live at 1.30.Contador is the Greatest0

If Astana, Sky and Saxo decide to keep the pace really high on the main climb then there's going to be splits all over the place.
If it is a really reduced bunch then we could even see the big favourites sprinting for time bonuses.0 -
There is now a fans video if the incident, yesterday. As clear as day. He lifts up the barrier rope and chaos ensues.

Really is incredibly stupid. Only takes one idiot to screw up several rider's races.
Anyway, today. Any chance they can make it a quick stage- need to head off about 15.45-16.00 ish.0 -
Very strong break. As expected, both Ulissi and Gilbert are playing a big role. Both went to check out this stage before the race. #Giro

4 riders up front, 21 in the middle inc 3 BMC and Boonen, then a Saxo led peloton. The BMC riders appear to be trying to get the 4 riders back.
No time gaps on screen yet though so that's helpful.0 -
68km to go, the first 2 groups are together again approx 1 minute from peloton. Some riders going out the back and TS still setting a fairly hard pace with Orica, Astana and Sky in formation behind.0

Meanwhile, Richie's caravan gets an extended airing on commentary. bbcnlkjhhdlbcouewyrgfx qjwebdx lqkwjedg xoquewdx qlejkwdn zq;wkegxf ieuw gxwljekx dk;

Boonen dropped out the middle group. Plenty of riders suffering.0
-
Greipel gone off the back - looks like it'll be a long day for him. Boonen dropped from break, swallowed up by peloton and out the back of that as well. Inxausti bike change.0

OK, new system at work.
Has reduced my stream to mere indecipherable blocks.
I can follow what's going on, but can't read the graphics, so what's the status?0 -

Welcome to my world...0 -

Front group has just under a minute, Sky rider in the break has gone back to the peloton - TV saying it was Nieve but I think it was Puccio.
TS train is still setting pace but more GC contenders moving up closer to the front.0 -

Did I just see Viviani in the peloton though?0

Some unknown Russian just blasts out of the front group towards the top of the climb and gets a large gap without even breathing.
