Hamilton has no doubts as to what Tinkoff and lack of results mean:

That article is a shambles. When was it published?

Also, this belter, in support of the source credibility
He was suspended by the team shortly before the 2007 Giro d'Italia after being named in Operación Puerto.
    I blame Brailsford.
    edit: And Cookson.

Thing is, though, pretty much everything Hamilton has said has been confirmed by others since. I'd suggest he is fairly credible when it comes to whistleblowing.

I have no problems with Tyler's integrity, it's the construction of the story that's funny:

Another great Friebe freebie after yesterday's Paolini portrait. Who is uncle Oleg?

Alberto contador – whom a year ago Tinkov accused of wasting his money, but has since become “a hero” in his team owner’s estimations –
    – but, for the most part, he has stopped meddling in team tactics. Which is just as well, says Jörg Jaksche: “To be honest, i had the impression that he didn’t have a ****ing clue about bike racing. but bjarne is the kind of guy who will listen to what he says and do something different. bjarne is smart.”

    I'd like to see a Brailsford/Riis job-swap. See what they're made of.

Brailsford relies on having good staff around him. And seeing as he hired most of Tinkoff's in the first place, he'd probably be OK.

It was more about the personalities of the teams, but I was forgetting that Sky have been seriously aggressive this year.

In that respect i suspect that DB could nt put up with OTs nonsense. he has always been a "my way or highway" man. I think if he was in Riis' shoes he would have walked out ages ago and done something else, cycling related or not.

Am I the one that thinks that this smacks much more of OT looking at him mate Abramovitch (or similar) sacking his manager. I don't see any sign of him pulling out of the team or changing anything significant other than the man driving the car. The Bike Team, currently known as Tinkoff Saxo, isnt going anywhere, Riis might be...

There's a bit more in the Danish media today.
It seems that after Quintana hammered Contador in Italy, Tinkov demanded Riis demote De Jongh and take the no 1 car himself. Riis refused, wanting to back his DSs. There's a team meeting. Lots of yelling from Tinkov and Sagan standing up to him.
    It sounds like Eastenders.

    Eastenders

Sounds like it's kicking off big time at Saxo. Sagans been there 5 minutes and going head-to-head with the boss. Brilliant.
Peggy Mitchell will wade in next, telling Tinkov she's spiked Contadors fillet steak and chips dahn the Queen Vic.

That picture of Contador and Oleg makes me think of this:

    Contador picking his contract terms?

    Great photo.
Tinkov is a perfect mix of Christopher Lloyd's character, Jim Ignatowski, in 'Taxi' - and Anthony Andrews in 'Brideshead Revisited'...
Bert, on the other hand looks like he's washing a tramp's c*ck...

If this is true of Sagan I might have to revise my opinion of him somewhat.

Is that a stuffed rat wearing the Tinkoff cap in the corner of Oleg's office?

    Yes.

Personally, I think TV2 will be where he earns his cash this summer, if he isn't just lounging by the pool.

That's an interesting view of Sky's "Zero Tolerance Policy" putting them equal with Movi and FdJ...
