    The Gazzetta notes that "Bad weather could affect the final ascent to Terminillo," but assures us that "However the roadway is clean and in order for the safety of the riders."

    RAI apparently is reporting that there is still the possibility of annulling this stage.

    RCS Sport has told Cyclingnews that the stage will definitely finish as planned on Terminillo.

    “I said before the race that my form is not great, so I don’t understand all the fuss,” he said. “I don’t know what I can do, we’ll see out on the road. I think Contador is the rider to beat and he will show it. Though Poels went well and could hang onto the lead and go on to win the race.”

    De Marchi recovers and now comes past Monfort and gets back up to Scarponi.

    Kiri still leading with Nieve left for Poels. Looks like Contador has just Kreuziger. Nibali there and Quintana has team members. Cummings still there.
