What's that all about? I heard the commentators mention him looking a bit nervous at a press conference and they were debating whether he should have been racing (naturally I assumed he'd been caught sprinkling something on his Cornflakes but maybe not...)
Linked to Dr Mertens, who does ozone therapy. (remove some blood, do some ozone "magic" to it, put it back in, all in one sitting)
If GvA has done that he's guilty of being a gullible fool.
Oh dear... thanks.0 -

I think even you know that's BS. Sure he helped initiate the break on the long sector and had a few digs but other than that it was one of the most evenly shared breaks I've seen thanks mainly to the good spread of teams.
Excellent race again, dropped riders kept on looking like they were coming back and any of the first 4 would have deserved the win. Once again the 'peloton' pulled things back at the very end. I do love this race.0 -

He is a classy looking rider, tragically let down by appalling short length:
and some questionable sock length choices:

Don't forget leg warmers with bare arms
It does seem like he suddenly decided he was sick of sucking wheel at some point last summer, good on him."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -

In case it wasn't mentioned, women's event was won by Megan Guarnier with Liz A in 2nd.

What I liked so very much in my TV viewing of the race, was the camera work from those Dam Motor Bike Cameramen.
It was wonderful that the roads are so narrow that they had to give the pictures I crave for.
They had to follow the riders (in the main) and show the road ahead with the body language of the riders.
They did however manage to get alongside for their close up of the helmets or chainwheel when on the Tarmac roads.
Well I enjoyed the racing anyway, with it's surprises of who "Blew Up" and then the winners effort.Organiser, National Championship 50 mile Time Trial 19720 -

Far too many motorbikes in that race, especially inbetween groups who were within seconds of each other.0

This what you can spot in the living room game is fun.* How many points do I get for an OV card?
*I fear this may become a standard on those long, windless GT transition stages.Correlation is not causation.0 -
