Are Planet X good at honouring these codes, I fancy the RT58 but it's back ordered until later this month, I just don't wanna wait around only for them to cancel and not honour the discount code.
PX told me they wouldn't honour it. Evidently Ukdl20 is the code reserved for founder Dave Loughran's friends and family. The guy I spoke to said he thought they had suspended all codes for the sale and this one may have slipped through the net. Said if they sold the Rt58 for £640 that would mean a massive loss. Then again it's still being accepted so that may all have been rubbish.

My mate ordered a Rival 22 version for a shade over a grand. Profit wise, if they made a profit on my Apex version, they should be making a profit on that.
So I wonder if they will cancel all orders? Or just those that don't make money............
Still works for me as well currently. You'd think if someone up high enough to say that they wouldn't honour it (and it had slipped through the net) they'd be a bit quicker to get their web chap to cancel it!
Oh and, just to add also, wouldn't it be better for friends of Dave to be told to ring up and he'd "sort them out." I mean, someone's bound to blag, aren't they?
The codes have been released deliberately because there were several in November featuring staff names. I made two orders at the time which went through fine as did others on here.
I guess the nature of the codes means they could back out of them at any point so we'll see...
