    Giving this a cheeky bump as I'm after one as well.

    There were rumours that UKSTAFF20 was working again but it doesn't seem to be.

    Had I known that code when I ordered, that £800 Ultegra carbon rt58 that I thought was a stonking deal would have cost me £640!!!!

    Experience says they don't last long. Mate currently overing over an XLS Rival hydro. Shade over 1k. He was going Dolan CDX but, frankly, that's got BB7's and is £1199.

    Im tempted by the one one pompino for a sscx etc as it comes with everthing & i I have a spare wheelset & spare brakes so could have a bike for £160 & buying cranks


    But then realized its 120mm spacing shame :x

    Doesn't seem to be working now. I bought a bike using one just before Christmas - was considering another if hte code worked!

    It is great marketing these "secret" 20% off codes as loads of us pile in for things we'd normally resist.

    Are Planet X good at honouring these codes, I fancy the RT58 but it's back ordered until later this month, I just don't wanna wait around only for them to cancel and not honour the discount code.

    Yes. I had my XLS on cycle scheme using it at Xmas. Mate ordered yesterday as well. Plenty of people have used it.

    PX told me they wouldn't honour it. Evidently Ukdl20 is the code reserved for founder Dave Loughran's friends and family. The guy I spoke to said he thought they had suspended all codes for the sale and this one may have slipped through the net. Said if they sold the Rt58 for £640 that would mean a massive loss. Then again it's still being accepted so that may all have been rubbish.

    It's going to be an interesting Monday for them then.

    The RT58 might be a loss but, evidently, others aren't. So, my XLS at £840 (ish I recall) was fine. Indeed, they cut the price to around that for a while. It's back up again now.

    My mate ordered a Rival 22 version for a shade over a grand. Profit wise, if they made a profit on my Apex version, they should be making a profit on that.

    So I wonder if they will cancel all orders? Or just those that don't make money............

    Still works for me as well currently. You'd think if someone up high enough to say that they wouldn't honour it (and it had slipped through the net) they'd be a bit quicker to get their web chap to cancel it!

    They've reserved funds from my card (not taken payment yet). Not sure if that's just automatically done or a good sign.

    The codes have been released deliberately because there were several in November featuring staff names. I made two orders at the time which went through fine as did others on here.

    I guess the nature of the codes means they could back out of them at any point so we'll see...

    Thats my family code - so unfortunately all orders will be cancelled on monday , the exception being of course if you are a long lost relative , in which case I will of course love to get to know you and lets meet up for a family reunion .
    Sorry - the sale we are running is a big stock spring clean , so we can't run any discount codes at the moment .

    If you like the bike, I doubt you'll find a better spec for 800 notes anywhere else.
