Road tubeless tyres, where and how much?

Anyone know what's happened to the Schwalbe One Tubeless? They seemed to be everywhere but as soon as I want to get some they've disappeared.

    I've bought a few things from bike24, seem to be fine and delivery is fairly quick.

    Yes, a couple of times (as have others on here). They're quick and reliable.

    I've just had some schwalbe one tubeless tyres delivered from bike24 today. Postage took around 4 days

    A-Cycles in France does a reasonable range of Tubeless. I'm running Hutchinson Fusion 3 25mm on my Audax bike and am very happy with them. Delivery was about 3 days. I will use them again.

    very narrow though Ugo. I tried to fit some to Archetypes last night and they wouldn't seat. Even with a tube they wouldn't stay put. My advice is avoid unless you run narrow, full-tubeless rims.

    Just bought a 66 mt roll of 25 mm Tesa tape, hoping it was the same as Stans... turns out it is exactly the same as Superstar components one, which is less good, but fair enough. 66 mt at 12 pounds works out 3 times cheaper than SS one, if I am right... :mrgreen:

    Still on the hunt for the real Stans stuff

    Buy a box of it and it works out at £4.49 per roll. Not sure what you'd do with 6336m of the stuff though.

    Loving my Vittoria XG Pro run tubeless. So, well, cushy and floaty. I dunno if that's because they are tubeless but they are rather lovely.

    Hi got some one tubeless 23, it says 30ml of doc blue sealent per road tyre, on videos I've watched like gcn it shows them putting loads in, don't want to get caught out with a puncture as I don't think I can get tube in, got mine off bike discount.de £28.

    I use 30 ml per tyre... if you get a big puncture that sprays before sealing, top it up when you get home, with another 10-15

    I just use 30ml as well. Seems plenty to me as.

    Went out for the first time yesterday, on my 25mm One tubeless tyres. They feel really quick and roll with a lovely hollow sound. Ride was good, but not as good as I was expecting in comparison to my 25mm Pro4Es. Although, I was probably runnning them with too high pressures and will drop them down 10% or so next time.

    Has anyone ever added Stans to a conventional tube in a road tyre? Is there any perceived risk in doing that other than adding some extra weight. Having used this method for Cyclocross I was wondering whether it is feasible for a clincher running at 100psi for that extra protection.

    Well I have :oops: and it works, just unclear whether it's a risk. The bottle says it's suitable for use in inner tubes so technically I can't see an issue. Was wondering whether someone could suggest a reason not to, else for training in winter it does appear to make sense.

    No reason not to. In the long run it might gunk the inner tube, but an inner tube cost 3 quid, so it's a non issue

    Yes that was my logic, the stuff works wonders for Cross tubs and protects the investment and time needed for a Dugast or equivalent so used inside a road wheel inner it is certainly worth considering.

    running circa 30 ml in each of my Schwalbe One (28C) tubs as insurance which as yet has not been required oops maybe just jinxed myself :)

    I have sealant in my tubs. After getting a huge handful of hawthorns in my mtb tyre and it sealing rhea, I am getting tubeless tyres next time round on the roadie.
    I tried converting my tyres like on a mtb till I found the info on stans site saying not too.

    How many miles do people seem to be getting out of the Schwalbe Ones?

    I've just ordered a pair of 28s from Bike 24 ready as a spare for when the current ones need replacing, I fancy giving the Hutchinson Sector 28 a go but the price is still so good on the Schwalbe Ones at the moment it's hard not to stick with them.
