I'll start with the obligatory yellow/polkadot/green full kit and bike combo. No, Tommy, no.

Gallopin showed a bit more style

    Trek bikes.

Agreed. And I have one, albeit perhaps not a racing machine...it takes me all my energy to get the damn thing down the stairs. The thought of spending more than £100 on one leaves me cold.

Fat twunts who run alongside/obstruct riders on climbs, particularly in the final push to the finish. I wouldn't mind but half of them don't even have the decency to wear a sports bra.

While I'm thinking about it…Valverde - he's a tw@t waffle of immense proportions and and despise him.

They're the best part of some stages. Nibali and Basso cooking a slap up meal with Sidi kit, Team Colombia having a dancing up a mountain to a pounding soundtrack etc.

You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Unrepentent dopers, especially the Spanish ones.

I would dearly like to ban these Too Near or Too Far camera shots also for the same reason.
Ban the cameraman who is so bored with his job that he/she needs a close up on a riders behinds (Bums) or the bottom bracket shots and I always hope they fall off while leaning to floor level shots.

'Experts' who invent data to 'prove' how a cyclists performance is a surefire sign of doping, publications that then print this 'proof' as fact and social media types who then use the 'proof' to support their own unsubstantiated views.

Others have already mentioned my other pet hates - white shorts (although I think female cyclists can get away with them) and the whole colour co-ordinated everything when wearing a competition leader jersey.

So I'm the only fan of head-to-toe leader's jersey colours?

edit: surely there is room in the sport for a bit of kitsch?

No I like them. The jerseys are important so it's good that teams / riders celebrate holding them to their fullest.
