    I don't want them on my side - I am their nemesis to them, I am the anti-christ. I keep exposing all their hypocracy and they told us to 'Formulate an exit strategy as it would not be worth you continuing' in March 2009. Well, here we are 5 years later and still going. 10 times more cost effective, 10 times more efficient, won Gold awards for recycling whilst they are getting a huge wrap on the knuckles for skee wiffing the figures and only recycling 27% of the intake when claiming that it was over 40%. SEPA piddled on those chips and they give us support.

    Our wonderful council signed a 25 year contract with Shanks Waste and after a loan and a hell of a lot of PPI, built a huge all singing, all dancing waste recycling plant.
    It was completed in 2009, 5 years in to the contract. As a result of this new fangled, high tech, they decided that we were surplus to requirements as all the waste will be sorted.
    2013, Shanks declared that they were recycling 37.5% of the waste. The Scottish Executive set a standard of 40% which is due to increase to 50% this year and if Salmond gets his way to keep the right side of the EU, may increase to 60%.
    SEPA went and did an audit. They sumised that at best, the recycling percentage was less than 27%. The sh1t hit the fan, the eco-deco plant was considered a complete failure and now have decided to Separate At Source. Problem is the council haven't got the cahonas to take Shanks for breach of contract because of the nepotism that brought the 25 year contract about in the first place. The waste budget is in deficit till 2536 (give or take a year or two). They also have to pay indemnities for the shortfall in recycling volumes.

    They are f*cked, buggered and being spit roasted from every direction and how they don't know what an 4rse is I have no idea 'cos they are being shafted.
