Are they fainting because they drank soya milk?
  • Hi everyone, i have just joined this forum today after spending the last few days reading all the previous 80 pages
and have to say that you all are the friendliest forum members i have ever come across after many years forum trawling. In spite of some extreme provocation the majority of you continue to try to help with real advice suggestion etc. I really felt inspired to join your community.
I rode my mountain bike yesterday, I am lucky to live in Lisbon, Portugal and spent a glorious 4 hours exploring the Sintra hills with some crazy single track. I ate lots of food to give me energy pre and post ride and 3 liters of water before and during the ride. The sky was blue and finished with an unseasonably hot 25 deg.

I meant it's 40 calories, was trying to make you realise something if you were conscious about your weight like some users on this forum and like myself, you would have a shock to know that, it's only 40 calories :) in comparison to it's size and capacity, 1ltr carton of soya is just that, even better, unsweetened soya is 20 calories a carton. No, I'm not flirting. I don't know how to.

I can't be bothered quoting you because it takes too long to cut out the stupid nonsense you talk.

Meat is no different (apart from maybe in the states), the difference is we no longer dry it out or cover it in salt to preserve it and we also have higher food hygiene standards, it doesn't rot any quicker, we just don't eat meat that is bad anymore because we know better, however feel free to treat meat how it used to, you will suffer some dramatic weight loss.

And I'm so surprised you've not been for a ride, I thought you rode everywhere including riding the canal path to Leeds daily.

Yh but did you know the preserved meat back in the day, lasted longer because it was Raw meat or organic, and not factory farmed, polluted with animal hormones and pulp.

I'm not having a breakfast this morning as I'm heading off to work a little late, so will only have one meal today, it's not that bad. When I'm active over next couple of days, I'll feel a lot better especially on 1-2 small meals a day and not stuck in an office. Looking forward to it should weather permit it.

I'm not bothered about calories/weight but for comparison i'm drinking a glass of orange squash which is 5 calories.

I'm drinking water in the office, it's suppose to be 0 calories, but with all the added chemicals, it even has a best before date.

So does that glass of orange juice you're drinking. Ain't exactly natural is it.

But then I am a 64 year old atheist vegetarian who eats 3 meals a day consuming 2,500 cals weighing 61kilos same weight as when I was 20 and only adding 1" to my waist of 29"

Also I did manage to drag myself out for a 3 hour ride today, 2 hours of that at around 80% max, then came home ate a hearty meal and a chocolate muffin.

Then tonight a big plate of vegetables and Tofu(that's made from boob growing soya)

Tomorrow it's the big home-made muesli 1000 calorie breakfast, coffee and banana.

And so on and so on.

You know I'm not an extremist in whatever I do. So for example, When I go to countries where there is fresh milk to drink, I drink it because it doesn't have the toxins and chemicals that most commercial milk has. So I don't see nothing wrong with it. I also eat cheese only a little. I have farm honey fresh and I eat fish. I just don't eat meat much because of what is in it and not that it's wrong to eat meat in my opinion, but too much ain't good. We were designed to drink milk, eat honey and eat meat, otherwise we wouldn't have meat eating teeth. It's like trying to turn a lion in to a vegetarian, which would be quite plain stupid. The dinosaurs there were meat eaters and veg eaters, but we have two sets of teeth so we can eat both. Isin't this logic?

Cody, can you answer me how life expectancy is much higher now than ever before if all the food we eat and drink we consume is so bad for you? And modern medicine is only there for a placebo and for us to become addicted to?

Why wouldnt you want to be Cody? Just think about it, cheap food shopping, no risk of sexually transmitted infections, endless supply of energy from prayer, never get a hangover, a bicycle which will never wear out any parts and an eternal paradise with 40 (I think) virgins on unspecified age, sex, species and attractiveness to look forward to after death.

Don't know what weird figure you're looking Cody at but a litre of unsweetened soya milk has 340 cals.

No wonder you're putting on weight if you can't read labels correctly.
