Don't worry about it. No man is going to be any more interested in you than the girls are. What with that fat tummy and no energy.

The other day coming down the stairwell of London's second tallest building two Polish 20 somethings decided to race to the bottom from the 13th floor, I'm up for this and gave chase I overtook the first on the second flite.

The second lad got to the bottom five steps in front of me jumping up and down shouting I've won, I said well done you've just beaten a 64 year old.

How crestfallen he would have been if I had told him I was a vegetarian who drank soya milk.

Get a life Cody I've been drinking soya for 30 odd years and Percy is still in fine fettle.

Don't drink soya. It's what doctors prescribe for sex-change patients.

Just when I think Cody can't be any more of an idiot he says something to make me realise there isnt a work to describe just how stupid he really is.

Soya will make you turn gay and grow magnificent breasts Cody.
Don't worry about telling your doctor you have no energy because you dont eat. Doctors have very little to do so please continue to waste their time. On an unrelated subject, I wonder why the wait to ses my GP is atound three weeks?

Get Strava on your iPhone, set yourself some goals for riding each week, and then post up a weekly summary. A bit of motivation might get you started on the right path... and you never know you might get up to a regular 20 miles a week, or even more.

Either that or cut/paste the above Cody quote into this thread each week... and then "sell".

I was going to go for a ride yesterday but I remembered that I have cracked ribs and a badly bruised arm from a crash last week. I met 2 nurses, a doctor and a radiographer. They were all very nice people and I told them exactly what had happened and where the pain was so they could help me.

Yesterday I only managed a 16 hour work day. I felt hungry so I prayed I had enough money to buy me a slice of pizza from greggs - I did, thank god!! I also consumed an extra big bag of revels as I could.

Does anyone know if eating pizza and revels plus no exercise makes you fat?

I'm getting worried that it will and I pray that I will be thin even with this regime.

I went for a ride with two colleagues yesterday - it was supposed to be a casual little ride but ended up being a 38k long tour - nothing gnarly terrain wise but long enough to get my legs tired. My two colleagues are casual bike riders, one on a borrowed bike. They both made it just fine too. One is a vegan who lives on a diet of smoothies because he's too lazy to cook, the one on the borrowed bike was a girl.

We ended our ride with beer and food - I had half rack of ribs - gorgeous!

My point being if two leisure riders, albeit people who work outdoors, can ride 38k then surely Cody can manage a little tootle round his local park? Whatever his T4 count is. Or how much soya he has drunk in a given day.

You know I had planned some riding this week, but so far haven't done any. The doctors had increased my medication and I'm kinda feeling the side effects from it, because according to their results from a recent blood test, my energy levels were low so they increased it. I haven't told them that I only eat meat once a month and that I don't substitute the meat for an alternative in vegetables, so that's something I could tell them which could possibly help them understand why my energy is low.

So to combat the side effects, I tried to keep busy as much as I can, of course riding was one option but found that there were more important things to do at home like clean my gardens and do some gardening and go for walks and help my mum clean the house and help my dad with selling his stuff online.

Since I listed the 22 items on Gumtree, I sold 4 items the following day, some garden stone which has been left over from our last project yesterday which I got a couple hundred pounds for and today had someone come to buy some furniture and someone came all the way from Birmingham to buy a car from me.

Also got a good deal on upgrade so was busy sorting that out since last Thursday. I got an iphone 6, but feels like I'm holding a TV in my hand, I asked for the 5s but they said they are going to discontinue it which I think was a lie so I had to rule that out. I got a good deal so decided to stay with my service provider for another 2 years. I can't argue really, everyone else I know with an iphone 6 is paying over £40.00pm, I'm paying less than £30pm and my handset was free :)

If I get a chance I'll go for a ride this week either on weekend etc
I still been getting up at 5.30am but go back to sleep at 6.30 and wake up at 9am.
I haven't also joined the gym yet, I'm just having some thoughts is it really worth it or can I just get the same exercise by doing it all outdoors. I'm gonna have to give it a go and then keep it up once I start till the autumn comes again.

I've got to keep it up I've got no choice really or my health will deteriorate.

Does anyone know if testosterone is weakened by drinking Soya? will it make me more feminine?

Well, yes eating less meat can take some energy away from you, but in the past it was nutritional so when it was eaten once every few months it was enough to last you a few weeks. But in today's standards you cant eat meat without freezing it and consuming it within two days otherwise it rots, says a lot about today's food. I feel better for not having meat as often now, once a month and some chicken once every two weeks. I eat plenty of vegetables which keeps me going.

Ive been drinking soya now for three weeks, feel a bit weaker than before or softer in the heart and have less urges than before. A famous western scholar says that eating meat can turn you gay but scientists can't confirm this because they are too late in terms of religious researched facts. The point is, we say to scientists, "you are too late", to discover scientific facts when we already know them without technology and books. For example, I eat meat and I get bouts of anger and provoked thoughts. Doctors say it's just your imagination. I eat no meat and I become a peaceful calm person, doctors say it's because you're practising self control and exercising and on a healthy diet. I'm like wtf, is this for real or what. What are they basing their evidence on. It's like, we know about the expansion of the universe 1400 years ago, but they've only discovered it today in last 30 years. We know because we were the first ones in there before anyone else. That's evidence. But doctors and scientists know the dangers of today's food and drink but refuse to tell people because they want to see for themselves the impact it has on people before they research. The damage is done. They test it on animals then give it to humans. This is the research they do. So I think it does turn you gay eating certain food, and we have to be careful . But we have to eat meat because that's what our bodies were designed for partly. Otherwise we wouldn't have carnivorous teeth like predatory animals. Not too much meat, once a month I think is fine.

Ive not researched that doctors give soya to ssex change patients, this is something new. My cousin told me it diminishes testosterone and makes you woman type of human. I do know that it's from soya bean only a little percentage but, tastes better than milk and is only 40 calories a carton! Can't go wrong with that. R u jealous Katie, it's only 40 calories ooh

How did you manage to stay a size small all these years, you must be on a proper vegetarian diet.
I'm struggling man, putting weight on like bread being baked in an oven. I thought being veggy was the way to go. One meal a day helps but I only eat two at moment. I want to be thin but I don't want to train, I don't believe our ancestors trained like we do now. I believe they walked a a lot and ate less. I have a car I only drive at weekends, not even that. But sometimes I dream of the baggy shirts I can wear when I'm thin or at least ten stones. My uncle passed away recently and I've got ten old school shirts from his collection and 34" waist chinos and lots of beautiful walking parkas and jackets and one fleece jacket from Yorkshire dales park, he was 6ft and weighed 10 stones. We're both the same height, but I weight 12 stones. I'm willing to be semi vegan or vegetarian but I have to eat meat once a month or every 6 weeks to fulfill my religious requirements. Overtime I will increase it from 6 weeks to maybe 9 weeks depending on how I feel.

Yeah I'll download strava, I've only got a 16 gb capacity phone but I'll have to make some room for it. Got about 8gb left. The phone took bloody 5gb for the software.

I've not done any riding this week, weathers been miserable, I've done lots of gardening though and took my car for a service and oil change and stuff. I'm going part time at work this week, so I will have to make an effort for riding, hoping the weather improves.

There is the theory that soy increases levels of estrogen in the body. Personally I'd take almond milk for taste any day.

I can't be bothered quoting you because it takes too long to cut out the stupid nonsense you talk.

You seriously should head back to primary school and start again, my 9 year old daughter has a better grip on laity than you.

Meat is no different (apart from maybe in the states), the difference is we no longer dry it out or cover it in salt to preserve it and we also have higher food hygiene standards, it doesn't rot any quicker, we just don't eat meat that is bad anymore because we know better, however feel free to treat meat how it used to, you will suffer some dramatic weight loss.

And I'm so surprised you've not been for a ride, I thought you rode everywhere including riding the canal path to Leeds daily.

Something wrong with a religion in which you have to kill a fellow creature to fulfil it's requirements.

But then I am a 64 year old atheist vegetarian who eats 3 meals a day consuming 2,500 cals weighing 61kilos same weight as when I was 20 and only adding 1" to my waist of 29"

Also I did manage to drag myself out for a 3 hour ride today, 2 hours of that at around 80% max, then came home ate a hearty meal and a chocolate muffin.

Then tonight a big plate of vegetables and Tofu(that's made from boob growing soya)

Tomorrow it's the big home-made muesli 1000 calorie breakfast, coffee and banana.

And so on and so on.
