  • These virgins, do you get to have a go on them all at once because that'd be be a mass of fumbling around in the dark if ever there was one.

And after a few you'd be pretty spent anyway.

There's something quite disturbing about the muslim/islamic obsession with virgins...

about their views of women as a whole it seems, which i never realised until this thread!
  • What I want to know is where are they getting these virgins from? Logistically is just doesn't had up as I'm sure the world supply of virgins of legal age would have dried up given the mortality numbers, especially if they have to be Muslim. Then I guess they need to be dead so this reduces the number still further. Unless they just magic them up. It all seems very confusing and implausible.

  • A journalist visited Afghanistan ten years ago and noted that the women always walked ten yards behind the men.

During a recent visit he noted a change and that the women were always ten yards in front. Curious as to the change the journalist asked a local man why they had changed their ways.

    "Landmines" he replied.

Supersonic says in his Rules of engagement, no harassment on threads, I think you lot are being very unfair. I never offended any of you, so you should think twice. I was a law student at once you know so be very careful what you say.

By the way that light, I never noticed it, it never show up in the top 4 of the listing. So I bought the other one instead. I'll try to cancel the order if I can and if he hasn't already dispatched it.

That's why I stopped telling people not to put this in the kicking off thread. My mind has been blown, unfortunately just my mind.
Regarding muslims and virgins, does it state that they are definitely women? You could get 72 of these:

Its like an itch. You know damned well that the more you scratch it, the more it will itch, and the more you will need to scratch it...
Apart from some rather odd views on religion, Cody seems like a decent enough bloke and if we can help him get on his bike, get a bit of exercise and fresh air then thats gotta be a good thing. Its just his utterly mid-boggling capacity to over complicate things that drives me round the bend!
  • I had a piece of Tuna Fish for lunch along with some steamed broccoli plant and carrot root.

I had porridge for breakfast so I guess that calorie for calorie I've eaten less than Cody but will still manage around 35km at a good pace on my bike tonight.

    With lights...

    And a black jacket...

  • I had a cornish pasty and a banana for breakfast, followed by two large white bread rolls, one with half a slab of cheese in, the other with tuna and loads of mayo...and some crisps.

And I'm not overweight, class myself as being in good shape.
Just ride your bike who cares, youre not off doing the Trans-savoie or a marathon, its a canal path by the sounds of it.

So you call for the thread to be closed down (who made you forum sherif?) and then you add two posts, and not even in response to anyone. Odd.

  • Just ate a dirty great big ribeye topped with stilton, jacket potato and a salad. I'll have dinner in a couple of hours.

I would guess that my daily calorie intake is more than Cody's weekly.

I had a prawn sandwich for lunch, and I always thought they were a crustacean.

You're confusing with banter and a fair few frustrated individuals who get fed up of giving advice which is largely ignored or having the written word quoted in return. Your idle threats are somewhat childish.

Has anyone harassed or threatened you, then? Considering the drivel you've posted here I think we've been quite civil.

I am, by the way, mildly offended by people who refuse to pull their weight when it comes to advancing the human race towards understanding and enlightenment.

I don't think any one has been overly rude to you to be honest. I think a lot of people have had to restrain themselves at some point.

You seem like a decent guy (as I said earlier in this thread) but you're just so frustrating the way you ask for advice and then link to something that completely contradicts the advice given on religious grounds !

Maybe your position is more complicated due to your religion, but surely somewhere common sense must prevail?

Neilus - It's been that long since I was an atheist, I can't remember how it feels like anymore to be one. I've come so far with religion I don't know what it's like to not believe in god anymore. But I guess with your comment, "odd views on religion", it perhaps may seem odd to you, but it's just like anything, takes time to nurture. Thanks for your kind comment, I am a nice human being I like to think without boasting, trying to be humble as the days go by, even that takes a lot of nurturing too. Being humble when you meet people, when driving a car and when riding a bike, greeting guests and so on. I try not to over complicate things, but have a tendency to do so, mainly because I'm not living an active lifestyle and just waffle on about things sometimes. It's because I'm not getting down to doing things I would like to or say I would and then spend days thinking about doing it, but never get round to it. My mind is quite encouraging sometimes, it's a 'do it' kind of mind but, sometimes it's lack of motivation mainly due to bad diet or just low in mood.

Don't you wear high visibility clothing, isin't it dangerous to wear dark jackets on a night which make it harder to be seen? Do you ride a lot at nights then? Tuna fish sounds nice, never had one though, only in chunks that you get in tins or sandwiches.

By the way which bike have you got?

I have had quite an episode in the past around 5 years ago, just had a nervous breakdown after I failed 1 of my exams and was quite angry sometimes. Nowadays I'm quite coolheaded, must be all the praying I do, helps a lot to clear my conscience. Food had a lot to do with it but doctors didn't believe me, they just said it helps keep up energy and good health but not mental health. I personally believe scientific study and research is not showing the dangers of eating processed food such as meat and chicken and other stuff. Meat causes anger when it is eaten in excess. That's my opinion.

Has your brother ever been treated for it?

Yep, you're right there, I only get by on around 300-500 calories a day.
But that's a big dinner you had, all that fat would look better on someone who is skinny lol
