From what I understand from a reply to an email they sent, they use bespoke fittings - normal standard mudguards won't fit...it was one of the reasons I went for the Rose as I didn't want to rely on them still being made in a couple of years time if my original set broke etc, though I dare say you could bodge something up?
I'll double check that email later though in case I got the wrong end of the stick...that was the impression I got though and I'm sure the pic of the bike showed the mudguard stays fitting higher up the chain stays and fork than normal?
EDIT: This is what they actually said in their email to me:
"The Inflite AL has a specific fender set designed for it, which will be available on our web shop later on next month."0 -
I may be in the wrong thread here, but I think Kinesis ti frames may have been mentioned at some point. I was all fired up to build a do everything bike and was looking at the Kinesis GF Ti until I was convinced by people here that disc brakes are the future. Their ATR Tripster takes discs, but it wouldn't suit what I want. So, yesterday I fired off an enquiry asking if there are plans to make a GF Ti disc and was emailed back today saying it's on it's way and should be available in January. Can't wait to see it.0

As this thread has been resurrected I shall add that I received an email from Rose yesterday...my bike has been shipped - 8 days before the assembly date they originally told me (and less than a month after my order)
Got another email today telling me my pedals have been shipped...so we all know the bike will arrive for the weekend but not the pedals dont we?0 -

Ordered in August, might maybe possibly ship next week... actually that'd be in line with their estimate.

Don't forget a few words on ride quality, handling etc.

Admittedly I've taken the seatpost out already...:)
Anyone have any opinions on using carbon paste on a carbon seat post/aluminum frame? The booklet Rose included only mentions carbon on it's own (carbon post/frame) and there's conflicting advice on forums regarding my combo.
Popping to evans later to pick up a torque wrench for the seat post as breaking it is exactly the sort of thing I'd end up doing...and I'll ask them for what it's worth if I need some.
Your experiences?0 -

I used a dab of Tacx Carbon Assembly Paste on my carbon bars and alu stem, and I'd do the same with the seatpost if Rockshox ever make a carbon Reverb.
Go for this if Evans have it in stock...

Later this week. Need to fit a front tyre tonight that I bought lunchtime then take it out for it's first test ride...before it's first proper ride on tomorrows commute.

If you mean when was the original estimate then for me, before ordering it was 4 - 6 weeks. 1 day after ordering they told me an assembly date just under 5 weeks away...and in the end it arrived 4 days before the asssembly date or exactly 1 month and 1 day after ordering.0 -

Those Rose DX Cross bikes, do they have plenty of clearance for mudguards plus 28mm tyres and the necessary fixings/eyes? And what about a rear rack? Would they take some sort of carrier OK?0
