This is the Kiriyenka I know and have been banging on about. Not the robotic thing Sky turned him into. Unleash that power Vasil even if you don't win.

51ks and 1.40 on the chasers.

Is it just me or does Carlton keep saying "Peysurourde" or something similar instead of "Peyresourde"?

Vasil Kiryienka is a machine. No wonder the FDJ riders have named their scooter after him. #TDF

I can tell already that I'm going to have to concentrate on the highlights tonight, not just have them on in the background while doing something less interesting.

Is it a bad thing that I just started looking forward to the Classica San Sebastian?

Everytime Carlton says Peysuroorde I think of this...

Anyway who just tweeted Carlton and told him off?

Well so much for Riblon's decent performance yesterday...he is off the back of the peloton.

Roche doing well to reduce this lead - at 1.15 (Herrada has done no work).
Mollema, Frank and VDB in the group behind and have not been able to match him.

His yo-yo performance is odd. He is going worse than last year.

Doesn't seem much point sprinting for an extra couple of points when the last climb is worth 50.

Finding the KOM battle very cagey stuff.
Kiriyenka has dusted off his old, Movistar motorbike for today. :)
    He'll take some catching.

Roche and Herrada caught by the Japanese bullet train.
