There's a chap in a red coat on the back of an AG2R sponsored motorbike waving his arms around like a madman at the Sagan group!

Pinot has jumped from the peloton too. *Edit* Pineau not Pinot.

KOM battle looking good so far:
    1 Martin TonyOmega Pharma - Quick-Step18
    2 Kadri BlelAG2R La Mondiale17
    3 De Marchi AlessandroCannondale 17
    4 Edet NicolasCofidis, Solutions Crédits12
    5 Rodríguez JoaquimTeam Katusha 11
    6 Voeckler ThomasTeam Europcar8

Purito doing well given he's been hanging around the back of the peloton until yesterday... Both he and Valverde have been very quiet so far.

Break has three minus now with the three chasers at about 30secs. I would like to see a stage where the break is actually hard to get into. The ones I have seen so far have not shown much competition.

You sure it's not Pineau, who's been dropped from the break?

Yep, I'm going to give up trying to be helpful! Not doing a good job of it.

If only Galopin could keep the yellow all the way. Won't ever get tired of seeing it with black shorts on an understated bike.

This is my last night on here, by the way. Tomorrow's a rest day and after that I will be watching but not have internet access, other than the occasional spurt.

I would appreciate it if someone could type, "GO CHENG", every so often. His senses are so sharp he can hear you typing his name and it spurs him on....

    Cheers,
    Steve

This should be in the Tour rule book. Along with maximum height for a sock, and the number of spots on the polka dot jersey. :D

    Oh look rain. Joy.
On the first climb, the seven have 4.25 on the peloton.
Last time check Sagan and JRod were struggling at 45secs but should make it up on the climb.
    Break is pretty strong.
Pineau was at 2.25 from them also.

Did that bloke John in the studio just say Heineken hails from Alsace?

I'm also hoping Voeckler never, ever gets near the polkadots again.

Those three join the break. They are not going to be happy about that. Pretty strong break for climbing. Going to be some fights for the points.

Commisaire shooing the moto away from Sagan trio... who have now bridged and are in the lead break.

This isn't a break that's going all the way. Far too much internal competition in it. It's going to blow apart very quickly.

What's up Doc, you don't want to see Tommy V's spotty crotch?
