Black shorts for Gallopin so no full yellow combo. Goes with the retro look of the bike.

They are well into the roll out from Mulhouse and the weather seems to being playing ball atm.

anyone got a good, non-youtube esqe feed? I can only seem to get ES Spain to work at work and it's a bit blurry. Is ITV4 doing full coverage?
(EDIT - yes it is, starting at 12.30 - phew!)

10th day of racing in a row. I suspect there will be a lot of tired legs today. Normally today would be a rest day and sometimes even earlier. I guess it being Bastille Day they couldnt put it as a rest day though.

Tommy can't wait! He looks like he's going to attack Prudhomme in the commisaire's car!

    +1

Looks like that is a reasonable break formed but with quite a few chasers. Break full of Frenchies, including Voeckler.

    --

“The riders competing in the Tour de Franche-Comté had to climb it the next day. They were all over the place,” Pinot recalls, before going on to highlight the particular difficulty of climbs in this region.
“The end of this stage takes place in what is like the Basque Country of the Vosges Haut-Saônoises,” he says. “They are short passes, from five to eight kilometres in length. The Chevrères reminds me of the Mur de Péguère, which we climbed [on the Tour] in 2012. It’s a narrow forest road where riders can’t go any more than three abreast.

Katusha on the front with JRod 3rd wheel. He said he was seriously targeting the KOM now. The way he talked about it too you would have thought he had it sewn up already!

By the look of that cloud burst I'll be surprised if they stay dry all day. What are the descents like?

It does make him look like the crazed man called Bob who lives in the woods.

I wonder if this is the stage Riblon will target. Not so sure but there will be one for certain. He is third from last.

Guess who is in the break

I got it wrong first time so edited the post, Barta in there not Konig, although I think Carlton did say Konig originally.
