Anyway, I've now got a mountain bike and I've had 2 punctures in one week. Thanks Stevo and Arran, you c**ts.
Sorry, not my fault if God hates roadies.

BTW welcome to The Dark Side - all you need now is a Darth Vader outfit like mine and the transformation is complete

I don't think I'll be needing that for a while. The bike's got a baby seat on. I go up and down a few slopes and dips, much to Baby Finch's delight, but I'm going to have to leave the DH bit for now.

no - kids love a bit of fun.

I took my eldest around the Llandegla blue route on the back of my bike - got to the end and he had lost a wellie & his dummy - but he loved it

You're giving me ideas now - might have to find some woodland track...

Finchy - don't do it. This is the first step into the slipperry alleyway they call the dark side. You'll find yourself being strapped to a tree in Merthyr Tidfil and banged by a queue of hairy flappity short wearing crudders.
Did you ever see 'It's a Bug's Life'? The bit where the fly heads toward the Insectocutor?

You really should see a therapist.

Then the therapist would need a therapist.

Finchy, can't remember if you're Kent based ? If you are try Bedgebury Forest - loads of 'family trail' type stuff :)

I'm still waiting for an appointment with her. I want to talk about the 'little guy', mum and the ducks in the swimming pool.

Yes, I know Bedgebury, but it's got to be somewhere accessible from Ashford by train, as we only have a Toyota Aygo and no bike rack. Might take him to my mum's place, plenty of woodland there.

Don't worry Pinarello, I'll still be a roadie first and foremost. Baby Finch has even got a little Tour de France vest.

Stop being tight and buy a bike rack. You know you want to

Stevo, the man drives a Toyota Aygo, if he puts a bike rack on the boot of that thing he'll be popping wheelies in it

It's a bit weird, we went around trying car after car, and the Toyota Aygo was the only one we tried that had enough room for my legs. :|:| :?

That's bizarre, I thought you'd look like this in an Aygo:

I think that the man who can't be named drives an Aygo. What do you think Steve 'Ford Mondeo' 666?

The Mondy is my spare car/bike carrier/'leave it where I want without worrying' transport. Not that the main family car is any sort of fanny magnet :)

What's your 'proper' car out of interest?

Room in his tin can van for quite a few of them. Before they end up in his basement :)
