The king is dead, long live the king.

Jens will never die, everybody else will just start getting younger.

Imagine the future, if a human was created using DNA from Jens and Cheng - a sort of Jengs. They would be invincible...

Have tweeted Giant Shimano the link as Cheng doesn't have a twitter account. Hopefully they'll pass it it on.

Weird, that didn't pop up when I did a search for him.

    Anyway, done.

    Knowing ignorance is strength.
    Ignoring knowledge is sickness.

If one is sick of sickness then one is not sick.
The sage is not sick because he is sick of sickness.
    Therefore he is not sick.

Came across really well, good to see him get some off-road airtime.

Cheng learnt to ride a bike using chopsticks to hold the bars. This resulted in a stronger core, enabling greater watts output.

Yes, really good colloquial English, self-deprecating humour, amused at 'breakaway killer' tag

    Seemed a nice lad

Cheng dangling off the back. Looks pretty cooked. I'm worried for him when it heads uphill. He doesn't have a lot of experience riding up mountains - he usually just rides through them....

Cheng rolls in at 12'16". Not bad, though Ted King and Kristiajn Koren put 5 minutes into him at 17'15".

WELL DONE, CHENG JI - chapeau!

    Ah, there you all are...

Sorry I'm late - pottssteve junior was watching the Avengers on my laptop.

Good to see Cheng smiling away in the peloton - another day off the front for him.

Great for him to give us all a little wave as they passed through Baccarat.

    GO CHENG!

Cheng in the peloton, hiding in plain sight.

Cheng comes in 184th place, 22'04" down on Kadri. It wasn't entirely his fault, however, as he took a wrong turn in Gerardmer and cycled across the lake before the final climb.

COME ON, CHENG! Feel the love from Hong Kong!

Thanks for the heads-up. Am listening now.

I'll be a bit late on tonight as "Duck Quacks Don't Echo" is on so I'll be watching that with Junior first. Will be interesting to see how Cheng does today in the hills...
