    I got down to the start today, was just next to the start line. Great atmosphere, and cool seeing the jerseys roll down and get swamped by the media.

    Teams not fussed about catching these two before the intermediate sprint then. Worth a brief effort to get 3rd instead.

    They seem to be going much slower than even the slowest scheduled time on the Tour website - by my reckoning they're over 10 minutes slower. Am trying to work out when to go down to Blackfriars.

    Nice work by Europcar to get their sprinter Coquard 3rd. Sagan 4th.
