Look at what a disaster this otherwise nice bike has become by adding handlebars like that

Christ on a bike. That should be taken outside and shot.

It'd take more than a change of bars to sort that out.

And if you're having the Colnago painted pink, why wouldn't get the forks done as well?

Mismatched wheels. They look pants AND he's spent £4k on them. Shocking. EPMS and flat bars. This saddens me

So Bauge had what looked like an air attack with a fairing on the side, it didn't look like it was supposed to be there as it didn't fit very well (There was a gap) How did he get away with that? I thought equipment was supposed to be standard?

You can see it in this picture: http://media.rtl.fr/online/image/2015/0 ... r-2015.jpg

It's called the "Giro Track Attack'. It was actually made for him by Giro. There is a mention of it on their website.

As for the standard UCI rule about equipment being available for public sale, etc, etc - I can't comment. But Giro have a long-standing trend of flaunting that rule with their helmets. Many of the Pro teams they supply helmets to use a short-tail/stubby version of the standard TT helmet that you cannot but anywhere.
I just saw this short tail model on Paris Nice. What a shame they don't do it as it would be perfect for me and much cheaper than a Kask Bambino if the rest of their pricing structure is anything to go on.

I though a Bambino would be perfect but my mate rode one in our hilly TT today and ended up having to pass the visor to a spectator as it steamed up so much. Sky must modify their ones surely? I can imagine Wiggo slinging his off a cliff if it did that to him and that was only on a short Cat 4, they wear theirs on proper mountain TTs and if it is the giro then it's still cold that time of year. Disappointing on a helmet which is hardly a bargain...

I'm not keen on the little kinks where the top and seat tubes meet the headtube. The rear triangle is very Canyon.

That'll be because he doesn't have bar tape on I think.

That's as maybe, although I think there is still bar tape, but they didn't have to use the yellow and green tape.

Yep, still bar tape on the base bars on the TT bike, looks like some sort of black insulation tape wrap on extensions.

Maybe they just realised it would have looked shoot and OTT with the TT paint job, but wanted to give a nod to it for the uphill TT. It wasn't on the bike for the normal road stages
