I feel the need to qualify that sentence :D

Whilst it would be most enjoyable to go for a drive with Arran as a passenger, if only to see his terrified little face when he reaches for a seat belt...I was of course meaning that Arran was correct in his assumption that I would want the gorgeous mrsT as my companion on the passenger seat, but then you knew that really!

Indeed, I just thought my initial misreading was more entertaining. Never let the truth get in the way of a good joke, or even a bad joke. But we all knew that too.

You are forgetting my penchant for old VW's  I am quite at home sans seat belt

Yeah but old v-dubs have a bonnet, bumper, cross member, chassis, bulk head, dashboard between you and the car in front, the isetta is a single skin opening door and well that is it really :D

T47, so it's not because he's one of the few other BB'ers who could actually fit in? :P

Over weight, disorderly, grumpy MAMIL piggies with shaved legs in Lycra blowing out snot rockets and speeding up in the face of the CTC blokes/MTB'ers appearing on the horizon. Great.

    Slight alteration MF, couldn't resist.

I don't think they say a lot. They just sort of mumble random grunting sounds and dribble a lot.

I don't think they say a lot. They just sort of mumble random grunting sounds like 'meh' and 'dude' and dribble a lot especially when they knock their dentures out on the stem yet again.

Sorry, I had to FTFY. Couldn't help it. Think I am suffering from PTCSD - Post traumatic crudder stress disorder.

So during the month of August the isetta has been on holiday, staying in a lovely garage, staying out of that fierce sun and only taken out in the mornings for trips to the seaside or art gallery to nourish it's cultural leanings...

That's a hell of a big garage for such a little car. Maybe you should start a collection. You often hear about these ageing English eccentrics living in foreign lands with all sorts stuffed away.

That's not a big garage it's a tiny car. And it's not a garage, it's a place to keep donkeys.

1 undo drain plug to release oil - 19mm spanner
2 drink a beer while you wait for oil to come out - beer
