ES showing the presentation from 1830 bst so hopefully we'll catch the majority if not all.

What's the odds Sky get boo'd onstage for dropping Wiggins? Because other than OPQS/Cav, BW not being there is all else the folks in attendance will have a clue about.
Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.

Froome? Didn't he do something of note last year at the event?

I would image that a lot of the people who paid to go to it may actually know something about cycling.

Paid??? Bloody hell. Britain sure knows how to shaft the public. How much were the tickets?

I think we had this discussion before. I think someone mentioned that if it wasn't paid for by the public it was another expense to be picked up by another sponsor.

I agree that it is pretty crappy though

Ha ha ha, still makes me laugh. That wasn't quite the highlight of stage 1, the flying boat and the OGE bus were the highlights but it did get the Tour off to a rip roaring start.

    Paid? Typical of you mainlanders.

Over here we give the tickets away free.. that way it also provides the opportunity to b*tch about how tickets were distributed.

After some googling it's £50 for the cheap seats and almost £100 for the good ones.

I'm not lost for words but would be better to keep my thoughts to myself.

Appalling stuff but to be expected.

Well, this is the country that gave us Rapha, so we've got form for screwing the gullible
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

It's like Eurovision. Kirby is Wogan. It's inside as it's easier to charge the entry fee.

Much as I like Jill Douglas, getting her to announce the names isn't a terrific idea.

Can Charge Tickets - No Freeloaders
Weather - Can use as an Excuse to hold inside

Ah yes good point about the walls and doors enabling them to ensure they can charge a fee.

    Or so they can't escape.

I went to go put some brownies in the oven, was he sticking to the "only here for stages" stuff?

For what it's worth Bertie reckoned on him still being up there for GC regardless of what he has been saying.
