Stokes has shown over and over again that his go-to expert in such matters, is Digger

@SSbike Stop being an uniformed dunce trying to take up scientific arguments. Do your homework, first.

@SSbike I hope you didn't pay too much for that degree, mate.... If you need definition of 'efficiency'

Is that okay according to rules? RT @kristoffervabo: Froome using inhaler during todays stage? (via @CyclingFlash) https://i.imgflip.com/9g4mr.gif

Its really not that hard to check the WADA list, and rather than being in a respected position as saying "is that ok" and casting doubt

    Scott O'Raw ‏@velocast · 29m
@dimspace And that is precisely the problem with respecting (and I apologise for this in advance) fucking idiots!

    Michelle Cound ‏@michellecound · 9m
@velocast @TourDeJose no TUE required, he has asthma, hence the coughing after exertion #duh #trolls

    Fuck the hypocrisy ‏@Digger_forum · 30m
Bilharzia and asthma - Froomey can't catch a break it seems.

Only in cycling would anyone get worked up about an asthma inhaler.

And anyone who has heard him coughing like a twenty a day smoker after ever stage shouldn't be the least bit surprised either.

Taking an inhaler during a stage is more of a disadvantage than an advantage! Having to hold your breath for 10 seconds while under heavy exertion is quite a tricky thing to do (for the very few who have never seen someone take an aerosol based inhaler you need to hold your breath otherwise most of the good stuff gets breathed straight out).

I've never had to take mine mid bike race - mine isn't exercise induced - but I used to run and would have to slow to walking pace in order to take my inhaler. This time of year can be particularly difficult coupled with hay fever.

What annoys me is that they claim something like "I just want this sport that I love to be clean" etc. It's BS. They just want a scandal (largely so they can say 'I told you so'). They love a scandal which is why cling to the Armstrong case. If they were honest about it, I could accept it. But they are like people claiming that they watch porn for the stories.

A lot of people's self worth is tied up in them being right about the conspiracy. They've invested years in it; they've become experts in xenon gas, they know what plasters indicate hen used post-race (nothing), they can type "w/kg" really really quickly, and they even understand some of what Vayer is babbling on about. If they're wrong, all of that knowledge become useless.

Take it while you can! If they've grown up with asthma like I have we were always told to take a puff or two before exercise. It's only more recently that we've been told not to do that and to rely more on preventative inhalers - habit is hard to get out of! Biggest worry I've had with asthma during a race is that I crash and land straight on my inhaler - that'd smart. Pain in the neck trying to keep carry an inhaler wearing a skinsuit too.

@muhua33 I am tired of these knuckleheads just constantly creating an undertow of suspicion. Just because they have the power. It's abusive

Hasn't Vaughters worked out yet that the knuckleheads use him to get attention and validity? If he stopped entertaining their tweets in his need to be the 'cleanest' team then he wouldn't enpower them.

I think he has. He pointed out several times that Stokes is a dunce. That's a public service.

I have asthma. I never get asthma when I am riding, however hard. I take my pump with me all the time and occasionally use it. When I do I go faster.

my diagnosis is that yours is almost certainly not exercise-induced asthma. please rest assured that it is perfectly normal, for peace of mind, to have your pump on you all the time and occasionally use it. but like everything else in life, just don't overdo it.
