Contador has won 7 GTs, is the greatest stage race rider of his generation and has entertained the fans for a decade but does not have a book out.
Sadly most of his fans can't read. It's one of the drawbacks of being quite as humble as he is.

They seem to be innumerate as well.

If you don't want people taking the piss out of Contador and his fans, then perhaps not bringing him into every thread would be a good idea? Just a suggestion.

    Loved that story.

Utterly happy to accept that we all descend from Africa via Ireland… Jessie O'wens, Cassius O'clay, Bjorn O'borg, Norman O'tebbit… Turns out Nigel Farage's German wife is the only one in the World who hasn't.

The problem for old bert is: if he wrote a book he would have to address how he likes his steak cooked (if you get what I mean).

Also found this about well loved humble contador: "Valverde and Rodriguez are former teammates. And when they were teammates they normally shared a room together at races. They remain close. Neither has a good relationship with Contador. "Valverde and Rodriguez are former teammates. And when they were teammates they normally shared a room together at races. They remain close. Until I saw his name written down I thought the football manager Dario Gradi was called Darry O'Grady. Similarly I thought the Trinidad striker Kenwyne Jones was a Welshman called Ken Wyn Jones.

Also irrelevant as the thread went tangential a long time ago.
I wonder who was responsible for it doing that...

I agree, I for one hardly ever mention the greatest climber ever to have ridden the tour King Andy Schleck. I think FF needs to ease off a bit with the Contador stuff.
This pic is when Contador realises Andy is much better and gets very annoyed with Andy. As you can see Andy shrugs it off with a smile as he knows he his the best.

Why dont you attempt to post something useful? You hardly post that I see and mainly to reply some BS to me...pretty useless contribution.

How are those photos relevant to this thread? Or at least the original subject of the thread, given how far off track you've managed to take it. Again.

So who is going to the book signing?

He wins a GT and tries to cash in with this book.

Contador has won 7 GTs, is the greatest stage race rider of his generation and has entertained the fans for a decade but does not have a book out.

    He hasn't won 7 GTs.

Did anyone go to the signing? If you did but missed him it was because he had better things to do then hang out with his fans.

    @chrisfroome 1m
Thanks to everyone that came out to the book signing today and apologies for it being so rushed, on my way to do some @letour recon!

Us real cycling fans, understand that as a heavyweight cycling true champion Froome has to be prepared.

He knows from this thread alone:

You have a first class degree from a top quality establishment

    you loved alberto contador

    you dislike chris froome

So i'd say he knows at least three things about you
