    not sure what "buffer bridge" is, but i'm sure it's not that

    more clues: it does not touch the solder itself, it is a thing in it's own right with a specific function

    Does it go in an empty hole in a circuit board so that solder doesn't block the hole? (So that you can then place your next component in the hole)
