    Good tactical sprint, enjoyed that

Kittel DNF apparently. Was he caught up in the crash?

    Porte also didn't finish.

Enthralling race so far: attacking racing rewarding the imaginative parcours, and a thrilling climax in prospect. Can Alberto's improved TT protect his opportunist breakaway margin. Can Froome claw back the time lost to Quintana's outrageous escape on stage 4? Can Tony Martin get over it?

It's these early-season skirmishes that build the narrative for epic GT confrontations...

    Oh

I'd really like to watch Froome in today's stage, but I don't have access to a TV! Can anyone suggest a place on t'internet which is streaming it?

I always find Steephill to be the best source - but everyone else swears by CyclingFans

When is Jack Bobridge going to turn his track pedigree into road success?

Just 7 seconds ahead of Sergent? Froome or Talansky have got this, surely.

Good ride by Giant's Tobias Ludvigsson. Comes in prov 3rd just 35" behind Martin. Just over half way.

Clearly more of a climbers TT, though Spilak looks slow to me.

Froome 1" up at the mo. Virtual lead of the GC by 24" given Spilak's time at the split.

Got a feeling Froome is going to destroy Spilaks time.

Well done Froomey. Good TT that. Excellent ride from Sergent on that course.

Not a bad time at all from Spilak, especially since he seemed visibly sloower than the top riders.
Froome has obviously overcome his back problems, climbing seated on 16% ramp.

Agreed. Good times from Uran and Rui Costa too.

I am sure this will not go unnoticed by the Twitterers, along with beating the World TT Champ, recovering from that bad cough etc, etc.
