Dejavu. According to @VanDerKloor Purito crashes in #AGR2014 and pulls out of the race! What a shame!

    Well that sucks.

But nice to see the last two U23 World Champions, Mohoric and Lutsenko, in the break.

Knee troubles following the same crash that took out JRod.

Break of ten - Christophe Riblon (Ag2r-La Mondiale), Rory Sutherland (Tinkoff-Saxo), Alexey Lutsenko (Astana), Matej Mohoric (Cannondale), Pim Ligthart (Lotto Belisol), Manuel Belletti (Androni Venezuela), Pirmin Lang (IAM Cycling), Preben Van Hecke (Topsport Vlaanderen), James Vanlandschoot (Wanty Gobert Groupe) and Nicola Boem (Bardiani CSF) - retain a margin of 10mins over the bunch. Just past the mid-point in terms of distance (not far off in terms of hills!).

@PelotonWatch: #AGR2014 115km to go and gap is 9'10". Meanwhile on Eurosport the touring car race has finished. Get off!

That's Andy's excuse for the next 3 years.

Carlton Kirby just thought the 'kopgroep' logo in the bottom right was indicating they were on a hill by the same name.....

Rob Hatch is a little better on sky.

    Lovely area to cycle in.

Dan Martin abandons, haven't seen any footage of any of the crashes.

    BR's finest speak:

    Valverde's baa baa black sheep - 21
    Gilbert's optimistic rams - 11
    Kwiatkowski's flower pot men - 10
Slagter of the lambs - 3
    J-Rod (bummer) - 3
    Mollema - 2
Betancur, Boasson-Hagen, Gerrans, Geschke, Matthews, Swift, Ulissi - breakaway heroes

Just tuned in. Anyone have any more news on J Rod? Hopefully he'll be ok for Wednesday because he's got to be favourite for Fleche Wallonne. He nailed it last year.

Boswell getting dropped before the race even gets going.

What's with the ******* adverts on this site again? I'd sorted it out on my iPad but they are back again making the page shift and doing my head in!

They're saying Dan Martin's out but Thomas still in. Is that the latest?

Update. Thomas and Edmondson out and Boswell dropped. Business as usual chez SKY.

And did a great impersonation of Daniel Moreno while doing it then... ;-)

It's unhelpful for Steven Roche to look like Pat McQuaid's happy twin on the Giro big start ad.

Did Kirby say a 6 min gap equated to 14 km? In that case the beeakaways doing 160 km/h!

I know I picked Gilbert for PTP, but I really want Little Flower to win this.
